I don't get why people go all out their way to frustrate people...

Yesterday, we were at the grocery store as there was not a crumb to eat at our home. My boyfriend and I diligently scrounged to stretch our few bucks as we have both been so limited these days. So we reach the cashier line to find this woman with a cart overflood with groceries. God Bless her to be able to do that. However, as usual I was standing behind our cart in a daze of thought, I am always thinking and in a state of panic how we are going to continue to survive. Anyways this woman was yelling at the poor cashier about how she wanted her groceries doubled bagged. The poor cashier had to be about 18, and tried everything to calm the woman down as the groceries were being doubled bagged. The manager ran over as there was a huge commotion. I was sort of lost with the conversation because I was so deep in thought. The woman was yelling this is United States of America dammit, blah, blah, blah, her boyfriend immediately began to walk away saying don't listen to her she is crazy. I wondered and wonder, why do people get so frustrated over stupidity, why don't people understand that a great deal of us have major issues and her double bagging argument was so petty. I forgot to mention this woman was paying her groceries with the government food card, she should feel so lucky, HA I don't know but I think some people are stupid? Don't you?

You hit it right on the nose. This woman walked out of there like she was completely right, like she and nobody did anything wrong. Wow.. so unreal.

Hi hardworkinggurl! Unfortunately there are alot of people out there who don't give a damn about anyone else, are always rude and impatient! I have a girlfriend who behaves much like the person you were describing and I'm embarrassed to go anywhere with her! If there is something wrong with the service in a restaurant or grocery or any other kind of store she always causes a seen and I just step away from her and make like I'm not with her and don't know her, even though we've known each other since we were ten! She's just a beotch and she knows it!

I believe that these type of people need to take relaxation pills to calm down, especially when they go out in public and know ahead that they are about to behave like that. I know, my dad is like that, and he goes to work with relaxation pills in his bag in case he goes nuts; we all know how jobs can drive us crazy.

@Opal26 & ilann1 yes this woman obviously needs something to calm down. It was rediculous. She just went on and on and did not care. When the cashier gave the women her change, the woman snatched it out of the cashiers hands. The poor cashier was sad and looked embarrassed. I immediately approached the cashier and told her honey you have it so bad, I am apologizing for the woman. Even though I was not with her or did not know her I did not think that the cashier should have been treated this way. I told her I am sorry that you have it so bad as dealing with the public is not easy. She smiled and said Thank you to me. So people like this woman will cross someone not so patient and get hurt one day as well deserved. Opal that is sad about your friend it has to be exhausting for her to be this way day and day out.

Wow!! To think with all the problems going on in this world these days, there are still people out there who are like this. And to think they have a Food Card. What do they think they are owed this, and should have no respect? Personally this is what bugs me... and makes me wish they could be Punished somehow and made to work for what they are getting as well.

Sadly yes there are a lot of people like this who feel entitle to behave as they do. I think around here if anyone qualifies and can work they are made now to work in community service for the food card. I think they are doing this to get those who can work to work for the food card, as well as possibly get them hired somewhere. The mindset really is to get anyone who can work to be disgusted with community service so they can get jobs. Little do they know jobs are hard to come by.

I think that there are alot of people out there that can get soo angry/frustrated aswell over silly things. If people were to just count to ten every now and again then people aswell as the people around them would not get half as frustrated.I sometimes get frustrated with not being able todo things, but now i count to ten and think before i act.

Great advice, I will put this into my routine. I too get very frustrated when I am not able to do things as well, so I will remember your advice and count just like you. This is great advice, after all there is always some other time.

Unfortunately hardworkinggurl there are some people that are never satisfied unless they are making other people miserable, somehow it makes them feel better. I will never understand when people are so rude. I have an aunt who is really rude to waitstaff and now I refuse to go out to restaurants with her anymore. One time she told the waitress her water was to cold.

Yes this is so unfortunate, but I believe they are unhappy if they don't make people unhappy.

I have never intentionally annoyed and or frustrated people, at least I do not believe so. However, I have been going through a really difficult time for the last eight months and come to realize that I must get closer to Christ. I have always believed in Christ as my savior. Christ has always been there for me so why I have gotten closer is concerning. I have been doing some really deep soul searching and find that I must change a great deal of things in my surroundings, which I believe when others intentionally annoy and or frustrate it won't affect me so much. Thanks for responding, hope you have a wonderful day!

I don't get it, who got frustrated, the woman or the cashier?

Sorry I was not clear it was the woman, the poor cashier was trying her hardest to keep things calm. But the woman was yelling and screaming. It is a pity how people go out there way to make everyone around them frustrated.
