Authenticaton by Phone with Craiglist?

Hi, anyone here familiar with the recent change in posting rules for craiglist? If you are from outside US you need to verify the code first through phone before you can post? I am working online and one of the task I do is post our ads into craiglist but I am having problem doing that now, because after putting in my US number (well you need to provide a number to which they are going to call in the code, you only have to wait 5 mins. DUH!!!)no one's calling. Been waiting for like several minutes but never got a call..
Any idea mylotters?

Hi, clouds0327. I live in the US and I had to complete a telephone verification as well. It is something that Craiglist is doing to avoid having multiple accounts in the same household. I received a phone call in less than, 1 minute. It did not take that long for my phone to ring. Maybe you should try contacting Craiglist about this verification process. I hope that you won't have to wait too long.

Oh I see. Hmmm... I guess I know what's happening already.. I am from outside USA Im not sure If I give them a US number although I am located elsewhere would make a difference? probably that's the reason why I am not getting any calls, maybe these calls don't work with SIP phones or VOIP phones? Thanks for the response...

I don't know what an SIP phone is but we have VoIP service and the calls came through fine.
Like "cream97" suggested, see if you can get a hold of someone at craigslist and explain the problem.
