I think people take dying their hair way too far. I have actually had grey hair since I was 17 yo and am now 43 so I have dyed my hair to cover grey all my life. I don't go all outragios, just a real pretty medium brown with red highlights. If I were to let my hair go, it is probably about three quarters grey now. I am way too young to have all that grey. it certainly makes my hair look healthy and shiny after I color it. I generally have to re color every 4-6 weeks to cover roots and renew the shininess of the color. Unless I actually tell people they enerally don't know I color and think it's natural. I have always done it at home, never in a salon for it's way too expensive when I can do it myself for 10 bucks. I have seen some pretty vibrant colors out there, reds, pinks, greens ect. some people wear it well others don't but they don't seem to care, they do it anyways.

Hi, walking2010. I have dyed my hair to an medium brown color once. This was 10 years ago. I kind of liked the color. I preferred to have an honey blond color to my hair. I think that if a hair color does not suit a person's skin complexion and features, they should not dye their hair that particular color.

OH YES!!!!!
Black, brown, pink, orange. you name it. I have done it. Reason being I can not afford the hairdresser!!!!!! However, the amount of times it has gone wrong are numerous. I am very lucky in that my hair seems to with stand most things. Good job really.
At the moment I am having a mature Pink bang and fringe thing! I want it, the kids say thats not right and will leave. Now there is a good temptation. I think you should do what YOU think is good. Are you going to hurt anyone, upset anyone? My guess is no. Are you going to be who you want to be? My guess is yes. As for all the other people walkiong down the street.......I would lay money on the fact that they are smiling and happy. Be who you need to be.
