so i wonder if Jesus would have died of a heroin overdose would we consider the needle a religious symbol i mean he died on the cross and people hang Jesus dead on a cross all over there house so i guess im wondering if it would have happen differently would you be hanging a Jesus with puke all down the front with a needle hanging out of his arm above your doorways?

thats good im just more or less saying its amazing the symbols that get worshiped especially that one i remember it scaring the crap out of me when i was a kid to the point where i didnt even want to make eye contact with it and its deff not as bad as it use to be i think even my grandparents took there creepy cross down i just dont think jesus would approve i mean i understand that its supposed be a reminder happened but still

Hahahah thats awesome. I personally am atheist so i dont believe in him to begin with, but if i did, i would most definitly not worship him if he was on heroin.

I think that it could have been, as the needle would be used as the representation in place of the cross and the heroin in the needle would have represented the absolution of all the pain, suffering that he had to endure for the people who are to come on after him. I don't know if my usage of absolution is correct. The world is a place where people believe in the symbols to which they can add religious connection to so the cross wasn't so symbolic because it was used as a executional device for criminals, but Jesus became a martyr and this was the only way or symbol for it that is why it got used as a symbol. We as people want proof something substantial solid to believe in the cross became it. So your needle could have been a symbol had it been used.

I love Jesus, and I respect the cross but I don't need to hang a cross anywhere in my house to prove that I'm a believer.
