It is widely popular drinks in the world. We can see how coca cola/pepsi and others made people convinced to drink it while eating meals. We are usually drinking as much as we can to refresh the warm body due to long exposure under the sun outside. Some can't even eat their meals without this. In a picnic people are used to bringing canned soft-drinks inside the cooler box to maintain its refreshing taste. How do you like drinking soft-drinks?

I think I qualify in those who can't eat their meals without softdrinks. lol. I do, I prefer softdrinks than water, but of course I drink water afterwards. I usually do this because whenever I finish eating, I could taste the fat and other after tastes that come with my food. Sorry if you're eating but the after tastes make me want to vomit the food that I just ate. I wash them off with the citrusy and bubbly taste of sprite. Oops, I'm endorsing or plugging this drink, really. =)

That's how you have to treat yourself, you found fun eating meal with it so go on... lol... That's your drive no one could really stop you here, I have to assume that candy also will help you to normalize your taste as another option... I do understand your case anyway. So soft-drinks company would generate more income from you I am sure, they must be thankful on that!

I also eat candies after meal! I'm eating one now. lol. Well softdrinks companies should! Be thankful I mean. Hehe. I drink their stuff like 3-4 times a day! I just wanna share that when I was in high school, I drink like 2 liters of softdrinks at school. And guess what I got. Ulcer. Ugh. I can barely stand the pain before. =( I went to the doctor though and he gave me antacids.

I think the easy you get addicted to soft-drinks intake the more easier to divert yourself not to drink it in a big volume due to bad history of your life you obtained from it... I have to take this opportunity to advice you that your previous experience of having ulcer, at this point in time is enough to skip getting another illness. You can drink but a little one is okay. Love yourself, I know you got a lot of dreams in your life... move on and look straight ahead...

I used to love them and I've consumed a lot of them for awhile too. You are right, there were times that I can take it without soft drinks specially at and during meals. Then I knew someone that can live without it. But now, I started to get rid of it and have now starting drinking juice instead.

Unfortunately I am very addicted to soft drinks, especially cola. I know how bad it is for you and I hate that i love them so much. I sometimes try to stop by drinking tea and lemonade because when I drink them I don't crave the soda as much, but then when i get around friends and family who drink it I get right back into the habit. I don't care too much for the taste of diet soft drinks, but there is one on the market that is not too bad...made with stevia sweetener called Zevia, but it is a bit pricy so I don't get it very often.

If you crave for more just choose yourself cola because I believe it's not costly, otherwise if you deal too much drinking Zevia it would be a certain minus on your pocket, but it's okay if you don't observe saving pennies.

Yea that's normal exercise in the restaurant. I'm here in the UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi)and McDonalds has options in their serving: 1) Coke/sprite/merinda; 2) Fresh orange nectar; 3) Water. So we do really enjoy eating meals here with the choices of drinks . Hope it might also happen to your place, advice McDonalds to do this setup... lol...

Hi,
I don't really like to drink soft drinks.
But during hot season, I will drink some to refresh myself.
I have not been drinking Coke for quite some times.
I prefer to drink 100 plus for refreshing. It is good to drink 100 plus after exercise too.
There are plenty type of soft drinks available in the market now. Some are nice, but some of them ,the taste is not that good.
Since I have a kid, I seldom drink soft drink because my son will ask for it.
Soft drink is not suitable for small kid to drink,so to prevent him from asking, I better don't drink it too.

Of course soft-drinks should always not possible for kids to drink. So the parents would also take time to hide in drinking this. Not all visible to children's eyes would be fitted for them, so in this case we have to stick to imposing proper discipline in some issues intending human health for them to understand how and why. Whatever things good for old people would definitely not good for young ones... so on and so forth...

Softdrinks! I love them. Mountain dew is actually my favorite. I limit myself to a maximum of one bottle per day though. I usually have this drink for lunch. For breakfast and dinner, I stick to water. Otherwise, I would have been ruining my health. :)

I like drinking softdrinks during heavy meals, specially during a party, it is like a a necessity in every party. It's like a party will never be compete without it. I prevent myself from drinking it daily though because it is really not good for our health. So I got used to drinking softdrinks only during special occasions.

Now that you're getting older it's about your time to alter those aggressiveness in drinking this. I'm drinking soft-drinks around 2 to 3 canned pieces in a week... lol... Just having some fruit juices mostly in my meals are sufficient. It keeps my appetite in good shape eating 3 or more meals in one day, I am drinking soft-drinks if I run out of fruit juices in my chiller (this happens very rare).

I like soft drinks but I don't indulge in them.
Really, in summer dringking a cool soft drink is a wonderful thing. But drinking too much soft drink is not good for our health. Soft drinks contain many chemical addtives, a lot of sugar lead to obesity. According to the science research, excessive consumption of soft drink will speed up ageing.

Good and impressive response you have done here! Well-discussed! Anyway, we have still our decision to do so, if it's your desire to escape drinking then do it, but once that a friend offer you a drink then try to accept it so you'll help out to keep beverages companies to exist... lol...

What a wonderful summer dinner it would be having fine meal with a soft-drinks right? I think summer is the booming season of soft-drinks manufacturer in this world. People are used to buying soft-drinks elsewhere as they go to comfort thirsty feeling. I know India is also having various climate... some parts are also like having the same temperature (more or less) as here in the UAE... so the public just keep on drinking of beverages to get that cooling effect on their bodies.

In a warm weather countries like ours, a vast majority take soft drinks especially during the summer months. You cannot say picnic is a picnic if soft drinks are missing in the cooler. But soft drinks are loaded with sugar and when taken excessively, one can be prone to diabetes. In the Philippines, diabetes is one of the 10 leading diseases that Pinoys are being treated to.

Yes, I believe so! Summer... is really a phenomenal season of soft-drinks manufacturing company... you can't escape the summer without mingling yourself with friends drinking this. I think it is only a matter of public or mass campaign in order to eradicate diabetes in the Philippines, not only soft-drinks drinking routine is the cause but also coffee drinking too, etc. It really needs the cooperation of the Dept. of Health to give full information to people that too much sugar ingestion is dangerous, it might be easy for everyone then to understand and be alerted.

I love drinking soft drinks after meals especially if i find that the food I ate and soft drinks make a perfect partner. Sometimes without soft drinks I feel empty and I really feel that I have to taste even just one drop to satisfy my cravings.

I know you take pleasure in soft-drinks, but don't exaggerate this... in every man's life function there is always called discipline that needs to practice. As you get more consumption of sugar in the body, the tendency is getting serious health problem that you might come across later, so to avoid it do some management on doing this for you to enjoy life to the fullest.

I like soft-drinks too but I only drink it on in occasions, in ordinary days cold water is enough. Also I do not drink soft-drinks when my stomach is empty since it contain an acid and almost all soft-drink has high content of sugar I drink it in moderation.

i used to drink a lot but hyperacidity got me so i stay away from my favorite sodas now. my favorites used to be dr. pepper and cherry coke...for a time, coke released vanilla coke and i pretended it was butterbeer...you know, from harry potter. nowadays, if i just can't practice self-control, i get myself a rootbeer float from a&w, i'm not sure if the ice cream neutralizes the acidic content of the drink but i tell myself anyway for justification.

I had also a hyper-acidity problem when I work abroad, a lot of oily food and uncontrollable drinking of soft-drinks too. I got several medications here in the UAE with a specialist on stomach problems. A friend of mine advised me to try cucumber. I just tried myself eating cucumber from breakfast 'till dinner. I have done this many times and finally I got unusual result that made me believed on the natural good effects of cucumber on hyper-acidity. Nowadays, I can't eat my meals without this... or at least in one day I could eat it in one of my meals.

Your choice is your command... lol... That's fine! Love your health as it is your wealth on earth... But don't forget to drink one at a time because don't you know that soft-drinks company are also doing projects for the benefits of less fortunate people in the world, and your money helps a lot... it is counted!
