I need an ADVISE about Nintendo Wii - Korean Console

My boyfriend and I canvassed the Nintendo Wii at Greenhills last time especially in Viramall then we found out this store and have chosen as the best among others which was the Future Station and these are the things included in the packages The price is Php 16,300 then this is Korean Console but US modified, it has complete accessories of Wii unit including the 100 in 1 sports pack for 2 players, Extra controller and nunchuck, 320 gigabytes hard disk with 265 games so they will provide external hard disk for the 265 games. 3 years service warranty then the hard disk is 1 year free replacement. Do you think I must trust the Korean Console of Nintendo Wii?

I guess its fine as long as you don't go online then accidentally update it or something. I heard that some korean consoles got messed up after they went online then got updated with U.S. updates. Just make sure that you don't do any updates. Playing offline would be safe I think.

Well if your console was soft modded it could be bricked by updating meaning rendering your console unplayable and be only good as a paperweight. Anyway its practically safe as long as you don't do any updates.

It works fine. I have one but mine doesn't have a hard disk. I bought it last year when Wii doesn't support hard disk yet. The only problem I encountered with it is that you don't know what kind of games will play on it. Whether its PAL or NTSC or both. But you can return the game anyway if it wouldn't play. I've encountered about 4 games that didn't play so far. But you said 265 games are free?? Then that's a lot of games! That offer is cheap. The only thing you will buy next is the guitar hero set!

Yeah the 265 games is included in the package. You can even replace other games for free or even add. honestly I am not interested in guitar hero but maybe I could buy dance pad since I am more interested to dance.
