Who's the best player in 2010 World Cup? He's not coming from the world champion, runner-up, or the usurper third place. Golden Ball belong Diego Forlan.

I thought Diego Forlan had a fantastic World Cup. I thought he was the best striker on display and his goals were fantastic. But I disagree with FIFA on the Golden Ball to Diego Forlan. I think he deserved the Golden Boot for his efforts. I think Xavi should have been given the Golden Ball for orchestrating the Spanish passing game which was really the most pleasing aspect of their game.

The Golden Boot is judged with the data in the World Cup. Muller deserved this award since he helped his teammates to score more times than other players who had got five goals.Although I appreciate Folan's performance very much,I still think FIFA reward him because they anticipate balance to some extent.

Yes,I agree that he deserved that award.Several goals from Forlan are always very important for his team to reverse the situation.He is a very very good player.
But I doubt that whether I will see him next time in the World Cup because of his age.Whatevr,I admire him very much.

I think Diego deservedly received the award - Best player World Cup. He scored quite beautiful and crucial goals that helped his team. Unfortunately Uruguay team failed to reach the final drop from the Netherlands who later failed to win the final match finished second after Spain with 0:1. In the match for third and fourth Uruguay lost to Germany and stayed in fourth place, but still received medals. This is my response for this discussion for World Cup . Hvave a nice day .

this guy deserved it a couple of years ago he wasn't good enough to make it off the bench for more than a few minutes for Manchester United I don't think it was because he wasn't good enough, but because Sir Alex wanted him to realize his full potential by working for it and look what he did at the world cup. What a player!!! He deserves it all.
