Mel Gibson hit his girlfriend - why would he do that?

We dont know what happened between them, who are we to judge?

I am kind of shocked by this. Especially from the guy who made the jesus christ movie. I thought he was a big christian, how can he hit a women. I think his carrier is pretty much over now. I dont think anyone will want to go see his movies now especially knowing that he is a jerk so why give money to him. Hopefully he changes but thats what happens when you let fame go to your head.

Just think those men who are not famous and who hit their wives and girlfriends, they are not announced in the world. there are many women who are silenced in this issue. men should know that women are to be loved, not hit. well i can also say that there are women who abuse their husband psychologically and sometimes physically, so it's not only based on gender. I say that everyone of us must be aware that hitting other people, may it be husband, wife, son, daughter and others is bad.

That's really unacceptable. those guys who hit their spouses or their girlfriends. They don't have the right to do so. Women are not a punching bag. If there's a problem between couples, they should talk about it not by hitting anyone. If this news is true, i will really feel upset. Like you I'm also a great fan of Mel Gibson.
