Still coping and crying over death of a child...

I want to share a very sad experience of my best friend. Her eldest daughter was only 11 years old that time, same age as my eldest daughter. She was pretty,healthy and smart girl who loved to sing. All of a sudden she got sick after taking a bath from the whole day fun of playing. At first my friend thought that it was only stress from the other day's activities. Her daughter had a very high fever and was complaining of pain on the neck and the nape. She never knew that it was caused by a bacterial meningitis. It only took her less than a month in the hospital before she gave up. I never imagine that her little girl was gone. It was October 16, 2008 when my best friend's world collapsed. I've been affected by her situation until now she is still crying whenever we had a talk. Everytime that happens, the only thing I can say is that I know she can learn to accept it. Sometimes, I just cried with her and never say a word. Do you know someone who share the same experience as my best friend? I hope she can get over it.
