I agree with you. I loved the world cup. I had picked Spain to win this world cup at the start of the tournament and they justified my faith in them. I think they are one great team. With Xavi, Iniesta and Alonso manning the midfield with Busquets breaking up the opponents play. At the back in Iker Saint Casillas you have the best goalkeeper in the world. In Puyol and Pique you have two of the coolest defenders around and Puyol brings in passion into the game. Up front in Villa and Torres you have two of the best poachers in the game.
What's more the reserve bench includes the likes of Fabregas, Navas and Pedro who can change the game when they come onto the field.
The best team won the world cup for me.
Cheers!

The World Cup puts me in the situation that I like soccer now. Spain is the best team for over a lot participants this year. Nobody thought that Spain will go through with all. They have not played well in their first few games of the World but made a move to discover that right attitude and right execution in the latter part. They found their game. They deserved to win it.

Yes, I was definitely cheering for Spain in the finals. I'm very happy they won. I enjoyed the World Cup also.
Sometimes people don't like an event because their team didn't win.
I know of people who won't watch a sporting event because their home team favorite is not in the game. I say, widen out and enjoy the game for what it is - a match between 2 teams - that's it.
Spain played a perfect match and truly deserve the cup.

Every world cup has it's own share of criticism and each person has its own way of appreciating the football games too so we can't please anyone with all the same thing. I think Spain deserves to get the trophy home with the way they showed in their previous matches. Even they lost to the Swiss in the first game, they don't lost hope instead and they never thought, neither everyone, they'd go in the finals and win the silver ware for the first time. It's a great world cup show though.

Spain were incredibly boring. They just passed until the other teams tired.
And Barcelona are disgustingly arrogant. Did you see the way Pique tried to put a Barce shirt of Fabregas? How about the sprinklers after Mourinho's semi-final?

Spain was one of my Favourites and i love to see they win. They play the best football today and they got the best team, that title was deserved.
About World Cup, i liked it, i think it has very exciting games, even the final was nice (except by the violence of the Holland players), but i miss a great player. In the past World Cups we always had someone (Zidane, Ronaldo, Romario, Maradona) and this one was poor (in my opinion), i think we had good players, but none of them was really a star.
