Comforter or blanket?

When you sleep do you use blanket or comforter? I use to live in a tropical country where its humid and sometimes hot at night we use electric fans to cool ourselves but I still use blankets for some reason. Now, here in the United States, we got AC all day, when I sleep I still use electric fans even though its not that hot but Instead of blankets I use the comforter as my blanket. Is that weird? What are you using when you sleep?

I live in a tropical country and I use blanket when sleeping. Even during the summer months, I can't sleep without a blanket covering my lower body but an electric fan must be on and set to high.

I would normally sleep with neither. On days that the weather is cold, I will take my blanket to cover myself. Thou I am also living in a tropical country, I do not have AC installed in my house. On real humid day, I will have two fan blasting at me when I sleep.

I only use blanket too because comforter would be too thick for me. I also live in a tropical country, and we don't have AC in our nipa hut!
Our other house has an ACd room but still I use blanket, sometimes none, and I end up curled into a ball at dawn!

I live in a tropical country as well and I use electric fan rather than AC. I don't mind using AC but I'm cutting down on my electricity charges. Anyway, I am not comfortable sleeping without anything covering me. Actually, I find it hard to sleep at all without covering even half of my body even if it's hot. I won't mind if it's a comforter or a blanket, but since comforter's thicker than blanket, I prefer the latter instead.

Hello,
I think comforters are softer to the skina nd smoother and feel better when they are cold compared to blanket. Blanket is not as smooth and does not get cold as easily. That is why you probably prefer the comforter over the blanket. it is not weird it is just you being you and knowing what you like better and gets you to sleep. Is that goal to get a good night sleep? and sleep for a long period of time. I know when i am hot it is very hard to sleep and get comfortable and I wake more groggy then a normal temperature night etc...
Thanks and have a great day
