why do people idiolise celebrities?

I dont know, some people just think they're gods or something. I used to think like that when I was younger. Now I still love some celebrities, but it's different

We idolize them because they appear to us in different characters. Suppose, a celebrity's character in a movie was that of a good mother, so all the mothers out there in the world will try to become like that celebrity's character, because we do tend to stay nicer... so what we do, is we idolize the character, which directly means we idolize the celebrity who was doing that character.
