What was you total day's earnings from working online all day?

Hi, I am on summer vacation because I work in the school system. So, now I have have a little extra time to spend online. I have been doing things online here and there all day. I just realized that I probably have used more electricity and earned less money, running my computer all day jumping from site to site. I have to ask, is this just for fun or can you really make some money doing PTCs and writing poetry, etc. If you spend more money than you bring in, you are what society calls "In the "Red." On site I just earned eight cents, on another I have earned sixteen cent for the entire month. There are a few sights where I earn points for searches. They are okay, but nothing to brag about. That is just not realistic. Is there anybody out there making enough money to pay any of their "real" bills? I am not looking for a get rich quick scam, but I would like to make more than $5 a day and use up $6 dollars worth of energy doing it.
