In recent days I was very tired and sleepy easy. I feel, my body tired quickly when working on something. Sometimes my hands hurt after a wash and I always feel sleepy. What is wrong in my body? What should I do, so I am not easily tired and sleepy? Any suggestions for me?

Please do go for an executive check up. The body might be deficient in something.

I will often feel like that due to I have FMS and don't do much. But I find what helps me is to make sure I eat a well rounded diet with all the vitamins and minerals needed daily, I also try to spend time outside the sun helps me feel more energized. I am unable to do hard workouts but I try to fit light exercise into my daily routine to help give me a little more energy. I try to start my morning off with a big glass of orange juice each day I have noticed the more often I have orange juice the less i feel tired through the day.

Yes going to the doctor would be my best advice, perhaps you are experiencing anemia. I have been anemic for a great part of my life and I get the same symptom. Where I am tired all the time, sleepy and restless.
I over push myself as I do not take naps during the day and over work my body. May iron supplements would do you some good.

Hopefully he put you on medication that usually helps along with a good diet and exercise.

i heard this too, deficiency of red blood cell or hemoglobin can cause stress and reduce energy. People feels dizzy and sometimes don't feel hungry..so blood sugar also go below the level.

You better check your health to the doctor. went to the doctor regularly is very important, so we can more quickly handle if it has the disease. Once a month I always went to the doctor, so I know my health condition. I also often experience such as yourself, after I check my blood pressure was rising. Maybe this happens to you, you better see a doctor immediately.

The most efficient method of keeping body and mind fit and healthy is regular practice of Indian system of yoga. There are simple and natural principles of exercises/physical body movement(Asan) that serves to keep one mentally and physically energetic, stress free and healthy,on permanent basis. The pressure of aging and mental stress can easily be overcome by resorting to natural system of living,in all aspects.

easily tired and sleepy is not always a sign that you're sick. All you have to do is rest lots and consume enough vitamin

I think you should change your diet. If you over eat or eat less than needed, eat foods containing sugars and fiber can cause you feel tired and sleepy. There is a scientific explanation behind the reason:
When people are hungry, there is a lack of glucose, and nerve cells in the brain send signals that keep a person alert. However when you eat a lot, there is an influx in body glucose which prevents the nerve cells from sending alert signals and hence people feel droopy.
And when you eat less, the amount of body glucose shrink to the required level and prevent to produce enough energy to carry on body activities and organs properly, results in feeling tired.
Eating sugary foods causes your brain to make large amounts of neurotransmitter, serotonin, that makes people fall asleep and tired. Eating sugary foods or those made of flour, such as bakery products or pastas (rice, wheat, potato, milk and fruits also) causes blood sugar rises higher than normal. This causes your pancreas to release large amounts of insulin, which drives one of the protein building blocks called tryptophan from your bloodstream to your brain, where it is converted to serotonin.
You can avoid feeling sleepy and tired by restricting foods high in sugar and flour. When it is important for you to be alert, eat food that do not cause a high rise in blood sugar, such as vegetable salads, nuts, seeds, meat fish and chicken.
I hope a healthy, adequate and proper balanced diet will improve your condition. Good luck...

indahfth I would go to your doctor and ask to have a diabetes check up
'and check for arthritis too. being tired and sleepy cou ld be you are running a high blood sugar, and your hands hurting could be symptoms of arthritis too. Also you may need vitamins too but I would get a checkup with your family doctor to see if you have any health problems.

Hi indahfth~ Are you feeling any other symptoms? Is it hotter
than usual or more humid? Have you been working harder than
usually and not getting enough sleep? These are usually the
first questions that I ask myself when I am not quite feeling
my usual feelings! If I don't get enough sleep or it is very
hot, like it has been where I live I can't function. I haven't
been feeling well myself lately, but I am going to the doctor
to get checked out because these feelings have lasted for too
long now and I feel the need to get myself checked!

Actually, the usual work I often do every day, and I feel my job the same as the previous day's work. Perhaps because of my lack of sleep, but every night's sleep I always wake up late, and I feel my sleep enough, Maybe I should go to the doctor to check my health condition.

I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong here but the first thing I would do in your shoes would be to see a doctor! Not many people like to see their gp as they consider their problems too trivial! It's always worth a visit to your local doctor's surgery though. Your doctor may have some answers for what you are experiencing.
May I ask, you say your hands hurt after you wash them, do you do any kind of physical manual work with your hands? You may be over doing things. Do you notice yourself having sleepless nights? The warm weather can contribute to this and I find it virtually impossible to sleep when the weather is exceptionally warm. I then find that I'm very tired the following day and I don't feel like doing anything other than having a lie down!
Anyway, I wish you well but that is what I would do, go and see your local doctor, it's worth a shot. Andrew![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)
