best download accelerator

i'm wondering what's the best download accelerator? i just downloaded yahoo messanger with internet download manager (i'm using internet download manager) but the speed was poor. Is there any better download manager?

Download Accelerator Plus. It has many options and many features. And it is also free.

i use internet download manager(IDM) and i must say that its the best download manager i have ever used. Through it, i can also download videos from youtube directly. The download spped is very good if you use registered version.

i don't know what's the difference between the registered and unregistered. I think IDM has several days trial and trial usually the same with registered version, right?

Actually internet download manager is the best out there.you can also try orbit downloader or Download accelerator plus.But actually any of those wont increase ur download speed much.They will increase upto a certain or very small extent. Try them,you will come their working soon.

Download accelerators are all bull they just change some simply settings you can change on your own for free but they are a bit tricky. I suggest downloading the trial of tune up utilities and letting it optimize your download settings for your connection type. Once the trial runs out its ok it wont undo the changes it made so your set for free!

wow, i don't know it if they only change a simple aettings. How to change the settings then? With registry editor?
