Last night I thought I would not be able to go home. I work from 3pm till 12mn and at 12 Basyang is already ruining metro. I took a cab from Ortigas up to Commonwealth Ave. just to get home. Some of my officemates were not able to go home because of the bad weather and trees cluttered all over. But then Ondoy ,is still worsts. How about you? what's your experience with Basyang?

i live south of the metro and it was raining hard last night and the wind was just as fierce especially towards midnight. it was a bit difficult to sleep too because of the sounds the wind carried and because the lights went out. after 15 hours without the electricity, having it back is very welcoming. i hope everyone fared well after the storm.

In our place the water is dirty because of the broken pipes near our place that they were fixing. I hope that they can fix that asap. for the electricity , we have already. Thank God! :)

It is raining in our place now. The Basyang may not have hit our area but we are somehow affected because it is now raining heavily. I hope the weather will be fine tomorrow.

just got back online, there was no electricity for the entire day but i made myself busy by cleaning up the front area from leaves and small branches. the winds were very strong and there was a moment where i prayed, but i couldn't concentrate because of the strong winds.

great you were still able to make a productive day even with the lack of electricity and water. i'm afraid i let the fallen leaves and branches sit in the garden since there's still a drizzle the entire day. i just worked indoors. i was just thankful i had the roofs checked the day before so there were no leaks whatsoever. the winds were really mighty strong last night.

Well, at least it didn't do an "Ondoy" and wiped us all off the map. We'll survive Blackout for 24-hours and strong winds. I was in a hurry going home last night though -- never know storm was coming, thought it was just some really strong rain going on last night.

I was chatting with my mom at around 10:30pm. She stopped sending messages so I started buzzing but still got no response. After 5 min I received an sms saying "Brown-out" . The wind was strong so the local Meralco office decided to turn off electricity to avoid accidents in case any pole or wire gets damaged.

It wasn't raining that hard, but the wind was very scary. it was like banging our window and howling. It was pretty scary. We also did not have electricity for 14 hours, and it just got back. I hope that other parts of the country would not be very much affected.
