Electricity or Water?

Ahhh -- Power's back. We had a power outage on our block since yesterday. And no power means no internet. Also, The water pump won't work.
It's a good thing the pressure was high early this morning -- at least water was available for bath - we did contemplate about getting water from the neighbors or just order it (Yes, we have those here) -- Still, no electricity the whole day.
But after 20 hours of waiting -- it's finally back.
If this were to happen, which one would you have working? Electricity (for internet, airconditioning, TV, etc.) or Water (Umm.. bath and drinking?)

I prefer water, because it is essential for human being. I also need electricity but it is very difficult to move without water especially if you are going to the comfort room. Also when you are thirsty.

Ofcourse if we had a choice during calamities we'd rather have all of those available to us. But then that's asking too much under the circumstance. I think during calamities, the most important things is water. To drink, to clean, to bathe and for calls of nature.

I prefer water to electricity. I believe people can survive even without electricity. Even though electricity is important nowadays, still water is one of our basic needs. Life without water is far worse than world without electricity. Just imagine, people cannot take a bath, cannot drink, cook, wash the dishes nor the do laundry. Everything will be messy and we will all die.
