They say that childhood experiences of people manifest themselves when they grow up. For example, if you always get a beating when you were young, you'll probably beat your kids as a form of discipline. Or if you get bullied often by your friends when you were a kid, then maybe you'll bully people a lot when you grow up. It's the same with food. lol. Kidding. My analogy got out of hand.
OK kidding aside, when I was a kid, I use to go to my mom's office after classes. When I get there, she buys me a KitKat and a Milo chocolate drink. Then before going home, she buys me a KitKat and a Milo again. On weekends, we always go to the mall and we always buy, guess what, chocolates. Thankfully I didn't develop diabetes. Anyway, I think because of my early saturation I am currently addicted to chocolates. lol. What about you guys? Did you also have a chocolaty childhood? =)

I did enjoy almost all things chocolot when I was younger but now not so much. There are certain desserts and treats that I like but now I only want them at certain times. Sometimes you can be overloaded with things as a child and then have the reverse effect, you either don't like them or don't want them as an adult.

That's also true. You can also become satiated with what you eat if you eat loads of it when you were young. =)

I am a chocolate lover until now. I crave for not only two pieces of sneaker's bar chocolate or toblerone bar either... these pieces are my favorite by the way. During my childhood, I've had always having difficulties to find good chocolate because we lived outside the city... though the distance was quite long hours to travel by the car, my father usually used to buy us quality chocolates as we reached the city. Being a kid it is the normal way indulging themselves into the delicious chocolaty taste. I could say most children are addicted on it because of the wholesome and irreplaceable taste it gives to... a mouth-watering feeling when somebody bites chocolate that you'll definitely want if you could see it.

Wow, being far from chocolate must have increased your craving for it. You're indulging yourself in chocolate now aren't you? =)

Chocolate was the only sweet I was allowed to eat when I was child I didn't get fizzy drinks or boiled sweets. I still love chocolate today but have to control how much I eat or I put on weight, it's so annoying all the nice foods are so fattening.

True! The best foods in life are usually those with the worst consequences when you eat them. *sigh* I wish we don't have to watch our diet.

I also love chocolates even now and i am quite addicted to it. I wouldn't think of a moment of my life withoput any chocolates. Whenever any relatives or long distance cousins come they still bring cocolates from me. I love the small kinder egg chocolates and the Lindt ones from Switzerland. They both are my favorites. Even Quality Street is an awesome chocolate which i truly like and love a lot. I always try to get my hand on those.

hmm...how I wish that I was a child again...I used to love eating chocolates and never had problems with it before, but when I grew up, I found out that I have an allergic reaction to most of the chocolates I eat..I know, poor me..one of the yummiest foods in the world and I'm allergic! but of course sometimes, I eat chocolates and forget all about my allergy! can't even remember when was the last time I ate one. LOL!
