I am somewhat stressed on trying to find a great gift for my hubby before the end of the month. We will be celebrating our first anniversary as boyfriends/girlfriends (though we're already married with a different date). Some people might think that this is a bit too much, because they might say "Why do they have to celebrate a boyfriends anniversary when they already have a date of their marriage?" Well, I'll answer it with a smile and a line that says, "It's always good to remember the old times. Isn't it?" especially with our situation - everything was so fast that we hardly noticed the time that passed. I want this celebration to be very special for us, and so I have to ask for suggestions on a unique gift for him. tia :)

That would be a good idea but I don't think I have the time to do this because we're both working in the same office and we've been really busy these days. We are always together so I don't think I could surprise him with a dish... maybe in the next anniversaries to come... Thanks for your advice anyway, greatly appreciated! :)

Even i have two anniversary. The first is the court marriage and the second is the church marriage. My wife always gift me Perfumes. I know this is a common gift that everyone give. But the unique thing about gifting the perfume is when ever you smell the same aroma outside your house let say office or railway station or bus stop, you'll think about the gifted person for a second at-least. or otherwise preparing your husband favorite food and having candle light dinner and spending whole night with your husband with flowers on the bed, you wearing your husband favorite gown or saree (preferable) with romantic mood, and smile on your face will also make him special. if possible photos of that particular moment.

thanks for your ideas paulgideon! I think I prefer the second suggestion rather than just giving a perfume. However, I still have to censider other choices. I want the gift to be special and unique as much as possible. :)

well you dont need reasons to celebrate...you need to create one. i too have 2 anniversaries. Once i maaried in court and the 2nd time in church. So i have 2 anniversaries. We celebrate both the days. if my wife was in your place she would give me a finger ring.
