Have you guys watched the American version of Il Mare? The movie starred Sandra Bullock as Kate Forster and Keanu Reeves as Alex Wyler. It was about two previous owners of a lake house who met through its mailbox. At first, Kate wrote to Alex, who she thought would be the next owner about the problems in the house. Alex was surprised to receive a letter from an alleged previous owner of the house which, he knows, has been vacant for years. They continued their exchange of letters and they found out that they're both from different time. Their problem was, could their love transcend time?
So have you watched it guys? I think it was a cool film. I liked the idea that time means nothing for two people who are in love. I found the movie very inspiring since Alex didn't give up on Kate. How about you? Did you like the movie? =)

The Lake House is one of my favorite movies. They work so well together and their love lasts a lifetime in 2 dimensions. love it.

They're perfect for each other! I love it that Alex is doing a lot of things for Kate and he's not giving up. I admired his determination and faith in his love that it actually transcended time. =)

Il Mare is the Korean version. =) They just used an Italian title which means the sea. =)

I love this movie, one of the coolest ever. I really liked the concept of the mailbox connecting the past and the future. It was really exciting when Sandra was able to save Keanu. Love love love this movie so much

The Lake House stars Keannu Reeves and Sandra Bullock respectively an architect living in 2004 and a doctor living in 2006. They meet via letters left in a mailbox at the lake house they have both lived in at seperate points in time, they carry on correspondence over two years, remaining seperated by their original difference for two years. for Keannu the time goes from 2004 to 2006. For Sandra the time goes from 2006 to 2008.
