After one year of saving on MyLot, I am finally going to cash out this month. I have never used pay but what I read I think, says you have to have a checking account. I don't have a checking account just a debit card. Can I get my money deposited to my debit card or do I have to open a checking account that I woud never use? Any help is appreciated.

Well, I guess you have to send it to paypal first, then you can verify your account there using either a debit/credit card. Once done, you can then transfer your money to your bank account.

If you have a debit card you have to have a checking account. How do you not know this?? (confusing)...All you need it your debit card number and account number for paypal. Ask you parents what it is, if you don't know.

Hi Keshia..I'd ask my parents if they were still alive! I am 54 years old! The debit card I have was sent to me from ChaCha who I work for online. It is how they pay me. (I make a lot of money there too if you're interested!) Anyway, I guess it is pretty stupid of me as the debit card did come from the First Internet Bank. I don't know what I was thinking about. Someone had just told me that you had to have a checking account which I do not. Don't mean to appear stupid but I never used Paypal before so that's why I was asking. Thanks for your post..j

I´m sure you can tie your pay pal account to your Bank account. If you live in the US (as you do) that is no problem. Just get into paypal and give your Bank account number. If you have a debit card, it means that you have the said account.

Hi marguicha. Yes I understand now. I just was told I had to have a checking account which I do not. I have a debit card which was sent to me from ChaCha whom I work for online. It is how they pay me. I do have an account with the first Internet Bank. Just was told you had to have a checking account which now I understand is the same as the debit card. Never used Paypal before but now I understand. I feel so stupid after reading everyones posts! DUH.....lol Thanks for your post.

If you have a debit card then surely you will have a bank account. So it is easy to send your money to your bank account from paypal account.

Hi pretty. Yes, I get it now. The debitcard was sent to me from ChaCha whom I work for online. It is how they pay me. The bank card is from The first Internet Bank but we are not able to deposit money on it unless it is sent into the bank, in other words you can't just deposit to it like any other debit card, its handled differently. Anyway, I'm going to try it, just not sure if it will work. Thanks for the post however. appreciate it. J
