How to trace someone on Net?

Somebody is bothering me here on net on Yahoo from last few days.Using different ids.I want to trace that person . I know that person is one of my old friends, who knows me well.I want to crack down his/her ids.instantly or want to trace the person down when he/or she is chatting with me. can i do that. can some one tell me how to hack an yahoo id of that person.

Yeah!! you can it is possible to trace the person ip. But i don't know much about this my friend had did some day ago. I suggest to take the help of YOUTUBE where you surely get the answer of it..my friend also get the knowledge about tracking from there only..
