I have a glut of cucumbers in the greenhouse, even after planting the seeds at different times the cucumbers seem to be all ready at the same time, i have given loads away to family, friends & neighbours. I am in danger of looking like a cucumber soon if eat any more so i was wondering if anyone had any recipes or ideas for cucumbers such as soups etc, that if possible i could freeze.

Hi Jen. I have been overwhelmed with tomatoes before, but never cucumbers. You could go for relish or chutney, which is what I did with my glut of tomatoes. How about pickling them, like gherkins?
Years ago I went to Poland on a C of E youth trip. Apart from a very long set of steps to the church, and seeing tanks parked in sidings, gherkins and tea in glass pots are lasting memories of the trip, and the beauty of Cracow. T/C, L.
