I am from Philippines and our currency is called "Peso" I started this discussion because I want to have some idea on how much is 100 to for you, is it small or large enough. As most of us here live in different country with different currencies. To start off here's my breakdown which my 100 peso bill can go. I can only purchase 1 value meal which is 57.00 pesos consisting of 1 reg coke + reg burger and reg fries, 7.00 pesos for 4 kilometers destination (for transportation), 30.00 pesos for jumbo popcorn, 7.00 pesos for plain soft ice cream on a cone and I can have 3 pcs candy for my 3.00 pesos coins remaining. What about you guys, you can share yours here but please make it total of 100.

I can do many things with a hundred bucks, 10 bucks for gas, 7 bucks to watch a movie, $5 popcorn, Double whopper combo meal $8, I think it is a lot of money. I don't really spend as much money. After spending 30 bucks maybe buy some shoes at the Ross store. shoes there usually cost around 20-30. I still have 40 bucks,It is actually a lot of money here in US.

100 pesos is what I fairly need to get to work from home and vice versa. I work in Ortigas and I live in NOvaliches. Gee.. Too costly huh? :)

Hi there. I am also from the Philippines. 100 pesos is enough to buy me 3 meals in a day. 35 Philippine peso for breakfast and lunch and 30 Philippine peso for dinner.Unlike $100. That amount is equivalent to 1/3 of my monthly salary. It's enough to buy me a month and a half supply of foods and other groceries.

100 pesos can buy me 2 kg semi-dinorado rice (aromatic rice mixed with rice of somewhat lower quality) worth P36 per kg, 3 packs of instant pancit canton (quick-cook noodles) P9 each, and a piece of candy for P1. That makes P72 + P27 + P1 =P100. And to answer your question, P100 is small if i'll consider that i'm not the only one in my family who has to eat. =)

Well $100 dollars in the US wont be enough to live on, but it sure dose help a little. here in the US you can pay one bill if the bill is under a $100 dollars, or you can use $50 dollars and go grocery shopping, and take the other half, and do somthing else useful with it. I'm not good at calculating things exactly but there's quite a few useful things you can do with a $100 bucks in America. All I can say is I wish I had an extra $100 bucks right now lol because I'm good at stretching my dollars and I would make sure that the money is put to good use.

So you mean 100 pesos and not 100 dollars? I would have better mileage with the latter currency used in the Philippines. LOL. Well, with my Php 100, assuming that it's all I have for the whole day, Php 30.00 of that amount would go to fare, and that's only going to and back to the house because with that amount of money I could not go many places. So once I am in my place of work or school I should not be going around anywhere but only have the remaining fare money for going home in the afternoon or evening. Php 70.00 would be left for snacks and lunch and you know that it's not much. I'd have to go the simple way: morning snack of one banana cue is Php 8.00, for lunch, rice Php 6, one dish of Php 35.00, the rest will be for my afternoon snack. That is very, very simple living there.

100 pesos is enough if you are really the type of person who doesn't spend much. But for me? It is definitely not enough. I can't even watch a decent movie with that for movie costs around P160 up. But, if you are really on a tight budget, that can be a lot. You can go to a convenience store and buy a large cup noodles and a bottle of water and you still get a change of P50 to buy more. Or you can just go to Jollibee or McDonalds and have a value meal.

I live in the US and 100 dollars will get me an older generation iPod (like maybe the iTouch 1st or second generation, I have to check). It could also buy 100 McDonald's McDoubles, not including tax. Other things are like 20 Subway foot-longs or maybe a nicer pair of Nike sneakers.

It's large enough.:D I am close to malls so I really don't need to spend for transportation. I can buy fried chicken with rice for 35 pesos, juice for 16 pesos, ice cream for 15 pesos. I still have 44 pesos right? Hmmm, I'll save it then.:D

actually 100 is not enough for me.....if i will go to multiplex to watch movie ....i will need at least 70 rupees for ticket.....and 100 rupees for food....this food contains 1 can of coke and popcorn and samosas ....samosas is an indian recipe and i love all this pack so i can eat only one of them...whenever i go to any restaurant i will atleast need 100 rupees...70 is a nice rate in my city for movie ticket and in other metros i have to pay 150 rupees atleast to buy a ticket only.....so i dont think it is enough for me..... i dont know whats the currency rate between philippine's and indian currency....but right now 1 us dollar is equal to 46.8 indian rupees happy mylotting

Ok so I am in the UK so £100 GBP to spend £10 petrol for a weeks worth of school runs in the car. £15 for the cinema with pop corn, drink and pick'n'mix £60 for the weeks shopping, dinners, snacks and packed lunches included £10 for 2 tops and some summer flip flops from Primark (love that place) £5 for 5 lines on the national lottery (come on the millions) Oh and for comparisons sake 1 100ml bottle of coke is £1 in Asda shopping centre.

I dont know how the calculation go. i am in the UAE and 1 UAE dhiram is equal to 12.5 Indian rupees. When i had a look at the exchange rate for peso, it shows as the same rate. So i assume that an indian rupee is equal to a peso.

With 100INS I can pretty much do the following: 1. Buy a video game and a small meal at McDonald's. 2. Buy 2 shirts or 2 skirts or 1 pair of pants. 3. Buy 0.3-0.5 liters of fuel for my car. 4. But groceries for a single person. 5. Pay all of the monthly bills except the phone bill. 100INS is not much in here as you can see.

100 rupees is not enoug for me if we go to any multiplex the ticket coast is Rs.100 so i can just watch the movie not able to buy any snacks in the break time.Even the cost of living has also been increased so even the essential needs are also increased so 100 is not enough to my concern.
