It feels like I just fell asleep when it's time to get up.

Do you ever have that feeling? I think I do a lot of the times, when I get woke up by forces other than my own internal clock. It is very frustrating to say the very least. I can wake up an hour earlier than normal on my own and feel fine. However, that alarm goes off on time, its like I just didn't get any sleep at all. Do you ever have this feeling? Looking forward to reading your responses.

Yes, that does tend to be how it goes a lot of the time. Where you sleep but not really sleep. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

True a lot of the time, very true. Of course there are times where I go to bed much earlier, but it does take me longer to get to bed. So you don't want to go to bed too early either, otherwise you will spend too much time actually fighting going to sleep. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Maybe this phenomenon is people's common character. If you slept very late last night, and you do not wake up natually the next morning but waken by a noisy, then you will feel very tired and frustrating. If I went to bed a little earlier, then the next morning I will wake up early natually.

It always happens to me. Most of the time I sleep late. But have to wake up early to attend classes. i generally wake up before alarm rings, take shower, prepare breakfast, eat but problem occurs when it's time to get ready for school. I feel like I didn't sleep for years. I even can't concentrate in class. It's so horrible.

Trying to get through the first couple of periods of class was torture on these days. Of course, there was a couple of times where I was lucky and had a study hall period first thing in the morning, but that was rare. Thank you for your response, it is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Sleeping - Getting a good nights sleep helps revive the brain and body. It is important to get enough sleep and not to burn the candle at both ends, as the say.
I know what you are saying. I tend to wake up an hour or two before I need to get up, then doze off back to sleep just before the alarm clock starts ringing in my ears. When I then wake up , it feels like I have only had a couple of minutes sleep. Best thing to do is just get up and get on with the day, you will soon feel awake and alive. Have fun.

Yes, getting on with the day is always the best thing. The day is going to start anyway. So, just slap yourself awake if you must, but it will be time to get down to business on that day soon enough. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hey guys I think it's quite normal but something happens abnormal with me. I always feel sleepy even after a whole night sleep but when it is a holiday I don't know why I wake up before sunrise and again go to bed when it is mid night. I never feel asleep. Does it happen to you too?

Yes you're right. This happened to me everytime I get exhausted from work. I felt like not waking up ang getting up from bed. But I have to, I have no choice but to get up and get ready for work.

Yes when its time to get up, there is really not that much we can do. Only if we can freeze time but sadly that's impossible. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Me too. I find myself very weird. I tend to sleep in the morning, not at night. I can stay up late in the night with good mental status, but no matter how early I slept last night, only if I wake up early in the morning, I'll feel sleepy all the day. Some research said people have their best sleep in the morning, it seems really true for me.

That is very true. I know there are sometimes where I wake up but its mostly by about Midnight, maybe 1 or 2 in the morning. Much later than that, I tend to sleep pretty straight through. I guess there is some truth to this. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I can sympathise with you there :/ I hate having to wake up to an alarm, because it does just feel like it is interrupting your sleep just as you have managed to get to sleep. Usually if I do have to use my alarm clock to get up early I would set it half an hour early so I can get time for a shower without having to rush, because I feel like it helps wake me up in the morning, otherwise I just feel like a mindless zombie for the rest of the morning.

Yes, there are times where the water can wake me up a bit. Whenever I have the time that is. There are some mornings where I am rushing. Oh well, such is life. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yes this is happens now for several days, because I go sleep very late and I wake up very late my sleep schedule is mixed. Sometimes I do my things at Internet, but my eyes looking hard I feel sleepy. Then I fast do something interesting and then I feel energy and I am back and ready for job. I think It is happens to many of us. Sometimes I can not sleep in nights I am worried about something and I do not feel sleepy then I go to myLot and do something there. Take care, Have a nice day!

Worry tends to be the great equalizer when sleep. As I have said, I wonder if a lot of the times if I am sleeping or in an awake state with my eyes closed that is close to sleeping, but technically is not. Of course it not quite awake either. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yes, that can be tiring. Waking up in the middle of a dream. Its like being yanked out of a deep sleep. Very, very true and a good point. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Oh, I get that all the time. I always get so frustrated when I wake up at six on the weekends, then struggle to rouse myself when my alarm goes off at the exact same time on weekdays! Also, it seems like the more sleep I get, the more tired I am when I wake up. Last night I went to sleep two hours earlier than I normally do, and today I can barely keep my eyes open!

I feel like that at sometimes. I think that's because our bodies get a little too used to sleeping. Therefore, once we have to get up, we feel tired a lot of the time. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think it's always like that especially when you know that you have to wake up on a certain time. But when you know and your body knows that it can sleep "unlimitedly" then when you wake up you feel refreshed. I work the night shift for the past 3 years now and I always feel that I lack sleep.

Yeah, its like that the vast majority of the time. Working the night shift, yeah, I can really see how something like that could do that to you. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I feel that way when I stayed up late. Of course it would really feel as if I didn't get to sleep. Another instance is when I wake up a couple of times in the night. Like I'll sleep at 10, then I'll wake up at 12, fall asleep at 12:30, will wake up at 1:30, and so on. The problem with feeling like you've just slept is that you feel tired already. And it really affects my mood. =S

Yeah staying up late can contribute to this problem somewhat. Of course, going to bed early can as well. Of course, I must wonder if I am really sleeping a lot of the time or staying in a half awake state with my eyes closed. Just something to ponder a lot of the time. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
