I find that most of my reading is done in my bedroom. It just seems like the most comforting place to read. However, when its nice out, there are times where I have the chance, where I go outside and sit in a lawn chair under a tree to read. How about you? Where do you do most of your reading?

Yeah, I think our bedrooms is the best place to read. I think its easier to just grab a book from there, because I store them in my room. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yeah, the bedroom is a place where a lot of comfort can be found for sure. It just seems like it is the one place where I can go and just get away from the rest of the world for a little bit. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yes, I also prefer to read in the bedroom. I can get comfortable there and it is usually a quiet and peaceful place to concentrate on a book. I also like reading on the train if I have a long boring journey.

The bedroom is really a nice place to read. It is out of the way of pretty much everything. Plus, I can close the door and everyone knows that I am not to be bothered. On any kind of long trip, its always good to have a book as well, very true. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well.

In the bath tub. I get all relaxed in a bubbly warm tub and just chill out with a book. Of course, this has led to me getting out looking like a prune when I'm really into a good book. I will eventually move to the bedroom to finish though.

Never really did read in the bath tub. The size of it makes it unable to get into a comfortable position. However, that is nice you can do something like that. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hello Megamatt. I love to read books and when I'm at home I go to the bedroom to read or to the garden if the weather is good. When I'm on holiday I like to read on the beach or by the pool, it passes the time while I'm getting a nice tan.

I do most of my reading in my bedroom, with a cozy blanket. It's more comfortable reading in the bedroom, I have a pillow shaped like a bunny that my sister gave me, that makes a good back rest. Or I read in the rec room, with a blanket, with my feline companion sleeping on my lap. The cat also enjoys sleeping on the bed while I read.

I always take a book with me wherever I go so I'll do the majority of my reading wherever it is that I'm off to. I'll read at home, on the train, at class, waiting for the doctor, waiting in line, or pacing back and forth in my living room. I've read outside, inside, on a mailbox, and standing up on a train holding the book open with one hand and hanging on with the other. I'm really not picky about where I'm reading.

I do admit that there are times where while I am picky, I have to be creative. Still I do have my places that I enjoy but if its needed, I will adapt. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I mostly read in the bedroom, or in the living room lying down on the sofa. Or anywhere I can lie down for that matter. i don't mind holding my cellphone up to read e-books (as i don't read paperbacks anymore) cause it's light enough and i can hold it near my eyes or any position i feel most comfortable with.

Hi Megamatt,
I read just anywhere I feel comfortable doing so. As long as there is a good book to read and I find a good place to sit or lie down with comfortable lighting, I bring my book with me and read. But it also depends on what book I am reading. If I am reading a novel, I read on the bed at night where I won't have much distractions so I can finish it without disruptions. Other than novels, I read anywhere I can.
Have a nice day!

Yes, a good book, for the most part, places where you read should not be any barrier. Of course, I have gotten picky as I grew older, so I guess it does matter a little bit. Not all that much but I have picked and chose where I read. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Even though my favorite place for reading is at my kitchen table, I do a lot of my reading in bed. It is a risky venture indeed, as I usually fall asleep sooner than I would expect. So when I am keen on a book, I rather sit at the kitchen table with a table lamp on it. It's a large piece of furniture providing ample room for books, pen and pad.

Kitchen table never really been a place that I cared for reading. Every now and again, but the fact that that's an area in my house where so many people can go, tend to disrupt my concentration. But perhaps that is just me. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

For me it really depends on how interesting I find the book. If I'm really into it, I'll read just about anywhere. However, if it's a book I've read before, or it's not really capturing my attention, I'll just pick it up and read it when I'm bored, usually at school.

I read in my bed.:D For me, it's the best spot ever to read. No one will disturb me since it's my territory. :D Sometimes, I read in the library or any places where there are chairs and there aren't many people around. I also like reading while I'm sitting on the floor and my back rests against the wall.:D

I never really like reading in the living room all that much for some reason. Every now and again, but it just seems not as private. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

In the past i always read at my bedroom, when i was resting in my bed. But now i am dividing that time and i am reading a lot on the porch of my house, i found out that there is a very comforting and calm place to read.
