what would you choose as a pet??

if you wanted to buy a pet animal or bird what would it be? i would choose a parrot so that i can teach it to say things like"good morning your majesty" when i wake up in the morning' and "welcome home your excellence' when i return home from college. haha. i know most people want to have puppies or dogs as pets but i dont. i wanted one when i was small but now when i think of it, i realize that having a dog as a pet creates more problems than it solves. of course, is doesnt solve any problems. haha. anyway. what would you like at as a pet? what would you name it??
