are you ever aware of the fact that you're dreaming but continue to dream anyway

Sometimes in the middle of a Dream I'll realize I'm dreaming and just go about my business in a world without consequences doing whatever I feel like because I know it's a dream. Do you guys ever have that happen to you?

Yes!! I have done that before too! It is really bizarre... In the middle of the dream I will know that it is a dream so that I don't have to worry about getting hurt and things like that. It's neat to hear that other people have been able to feel this too!

It's fun but for some reason if you die in your dream you don't come back, you just resume normal, dreamless sleep.

Yeah I die in literally every dream I've ever had where I haven't been woken up in the middle of it.

Ya, I do have the experience before. But depending on the type of dream, I will choose whether to continue or not.
