See when a player continuously seems to have a brush with the authorities, there is some issues with the player. If you follow Malik's career he has always had fights with the board and the team mates, so I think there is something fundamentally wrong with him. Also all the controversies surrounding his marriage and stuff like that shows that he has a penchant for controversies. So I will tend to think that he deserves to be dropped. Cheers! Ram

No this is not fair at all.Shoib malik did a mistake and broke the rules but it doesnt make sense to drop him from the side.He is one of the few technical batsman in pakistan batting lineup, and he will be missed by the team for sure

Yes, I think this is fair as if he wanted to play, he would have come to the practice match. Not coming shows a lack of dedication and a poor sense of responsibility. If he didn't come to the practice match because he was sick or something then that's an even better reason for him not to play.

well there is nothing to get surprised on this news. pak board has not been going smoothly with their former captain. they banned him, but relaxed the ban later and pick him in the team. this clearly shows that there are some people who are supporting him and some against him in the pak board. so when he dont attend the practice session, he will be kicked out by the board members who stand against him. and why dont he attend the practice session?
