over and over?

Is there anything that your little one - or even your older child could do all day long? For my little one its his videos - he gets into favourites and wants to watch them again and again. If I'm busy - and letting him watch tv - he will watch his favs in a row - asking for the same movie - again. There are many other things my three year old likes - playing with his cars and tracks, his tents and kitchen - our neighbor- his p lasma car and slide - but these things only keep him busy for so long. The only thing somewhat close is he gets favourite books - usually one of his new ones (my sil sends books every month and I love buying him books) - and he will want me to read whichever one it is over and over and over - and he likes to sit and look at it himself. Like his fav movies, it changes every so often. What about you - what things can your little one do over and over - the same book or movie, biking all day long....chess all day. Of course its good to offer different activities but what would they be willing to do all the time were you to let them...

My 4 year old daughter is very into Art's and Crafts. She will sit and draw, color, paint and anything to do with art for hours! I love that she has found her talent so young because she is AMAZING at art, which she definitely get's from her dad. When I had my Preschool Class, we would do arts and crafts and she would get so upset when we had to stop doing art for us to start something else. =)

My little one has fun at crafts but after about an hour its off to something else! The only thing that keeps his interest is whatever his favourite movie at the time. He still uses his slide and other things after the first few times though. I think its wonderful that she's so into them. Maybe she will be an artist or art therapy teacher. :)

I hope she will do something with her talent. Her dad is to afraid of rejection to try to do something with his art talent. She is my little artist =)

My little boy is going to be four years old in just a couple of months. Right now his current addiction is playing with his Hot Wheels. He has amassed quite a collection of them because we used Hot Wheels as his bribery when he was potty training. He will play with them in many different ways, sometimes he is just lining them up in a row like a train and other times he is racing them through the house. When his older sister was the same age, her addiction was Littlest Pet Shop of which she as about as many of those as Paul has Hot Wheels.
