If there was one book - no fair choosing something with different stories like the bible - that you had to choose as the only thing you could read - for the remainder of your life - what would it be?

I don't know if this counts. And before a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't really have an answer. But as of now I would say Why? by Anne Graham Lotz. I was telling someone today that I could read that over and over and still get something different from it each time. My grandmother loaned it to me, she thought it might help me right now. A lot of bad stuff has been going on around me. And the message of this book has been like a balm to my soul. I would probably pick this one.

It would have to be one of the books written by an ancient philosopher. I think that they could be read many times and you could still learn something from them. The Bible would of course have been my first choice, but you negated that one. Without knowledge we are nothing but animals. Shalom~Adoniah
