There are only two of us at work and the other person is fairly new. Been here for a couple of months. She still asks me a lot of the same questions, but she seems to be stopping that as frequently. Now she purposely stays on the phone so she doesn't have to answer the calls that come in. Or she just flat out wont answer them. So I end up taking a bunch of back to back calls. I'm getting fustrated and now my boss thinks my attitude towards her is a problem which it probably is. He sits right next to her and watches her not answer the phone but he doesn't do anything about it. I don't know how to not get fustrated and in a bad mood when I feel I'm overwhelmed with work. Any ideas?

Ooh! That's really frustrating and looking at your boss agreeing to what your co worker's doing is over the top! The best thing you can do is to confront your boss but in a light manner and just be calm coz if you burst all your emotions you might end up losing your job.

Yeah, It's hard to confront my boss about anything because he just laughs. It's hard to find another job especially since I've been here so long. I've been applying but I never get a response. I figure Ill have to figure it out anyhow. Thanks your insight!

I don't think you shouldn't do anything about it. There really are irritating people who are picky on what to do at work. Maybe she feels like it's not her job or something. If your boss doesn't do anything about it, I don't think you could. You just have to ignore her and what she's doing. Just find comfort in the fact that you're doing your job well and you're not aggravating anyone. =)

If you can't beat them, join them. If you can't stand not working, just don't look at her and do your work the best as you could.
