What are some natural, practical ways to reduce high blood pressure? What I know is that drinking pineapple juice helps lower down one's blood pressure as it reduces the level of cholesterol in the body. Are there some other juices aside from this? Thanks.

I have been having high blood pressure these few months, probably due to the stresses at my work. I am not dieting , but I am very careful about fatty fods and salty food preparations. The other thing I am avoiding entirely is coconut. Any food that has coconut in it aggravates the blood pressure immediately. I had not taken coconut for a long time.

Unsweetened pineapple juice is also recommended me by my doctor, less the food taken which are high source of cholesterol then take a walk daily and make more than 10,000 steps in a day is a safest way to burn cholesterol and can make our body active and healthy.

Today the high blood pressure seems to be a common healthy problem. I always think that the suitable exercise and diet will be helpful for the people who have the high blood pressure. Especially it is suggested to eat less salt. And having the normal weight is also important. This is why they need to do some sports.

First of all, reduce stress. Then have a positive outlook in life. Have PMA or Positive Mental Attitude. It's mind over body. When your mind is at its good state, then your body (including your blood pressure) will follow. Avoid foods that contribute to high blood pressure. Then have healthy exercise everyday. Last but not the least, renew your relationship with God and ask for his healing and comforting hands.

I heard that snacking on celery also lowers high blood pressure, but it's hard to eat this veggie sometimes. So, perhaps a celery-carrot or celery-cucumber smoothie could be taken.
