For CSI:NY fans: Melina Kanakaredes leaves CSI:New York

Have you read or heard this news? Melina Kanakaredes who plays Detective Stella Bonasera in CSI:New York is leaving the show and she won't be in Season 7 anymore. Sela Ward is going to replace her in the show (I don't know if she's going to play the same Stella character or she'll be a new character). As avid fans of this TV series, how do you feel about this? For me it's kinda sad not seeing her in the next season because she's been a very invaluable character from season one. I like her and she plays her character very well and there's no doubt about that.

She is a very good actress and has played the part well; it is too bad she is leaving. Sela Ward is also a good actress and will probably do well on the show. I think that Sela will play an entirely new character who replces Melina's character on the team.

She is the curly haired one right? yes it's sad to see that she won't be back on any other seasons, but who knows maybe she'll make guest appearances. I guess if they don't replace her character with the new person, she'll be back on.
Hmm.. Well nope I hadn't heard this.
