God not answering our prayers

Did you ever feel that God is not answering any of your prayers? I have felt this way and I am really sorry about it. I doubted God and I regretted it. I have always been asking God to give me a work and I have been asking him for a week already but then I felt that he is not listening to me and won't grant me prayers because well, I still don't have a job to do. I still have no job to do right now, but I apologized to him for doubting in him. I realized that I should wait and just be patient because He is preparing something better for me.
How about you? Any similar experiences?

God is great...!
He loves all and does not hate any one because he is the Creator.
Our prayers are sincerely heard and also answered - for some slow and some fast...depends on our Karmas.Because life runs on karmas..
Until the karmas get unwind nothing goes further because life is dependent on karmas.
Be sure that God surely hears your prayers and also will answer.
As you yourself told..I realized that I should wait and just be patient because He is preparing something better for me.

Yes, thank you busybee. You also have a point there, regarding karmas. I have done a lot of wrong things in the past, which I truly regret, and maybe I am now paying for all of my mistakes. I know that my prayers will be answered. Maybe not now, but at the time that God thinks is perfect. I have always said this a million times, and I will never get tired of saying this, but I will hold on to my faith to the God Almighty.

I haven't watched Bruce Almighty, but I will take your advice and watch it. Isn't it the movie where Jim Carrey was given power by God to grant the prayers of people? Please correct me if I got it wrong. Maybe I should watch that movie and my perspective on things would change.

Hi! I think that God answers all our prayers. But, we are not prepared for the answers. He answers three ways - yes, no and wait. When He answers yes, we see it immediately and think that He has answered our prayers. It's hard when the answer is no or wait. We think that He simply did not listen to our prayers. But, we are only humans, and we don't understand the wisdom of God. But, I believe that in everything, He does what is best for us. You are quite right saying that you should be patient because He is preparing something better for you. I've seen a lot of instances in my life where I've seen Him deny me something, but in the end, He gave me something better. God bless you!

Hello. Thank you for your response.
I am really sorry and I regret that I doubted him and believed that he he does not love me at all. I am really sorry that I said that to him, I was completely overwhelmed by my emotions that I did not know what I was saying. You are right, there were times when I asked God for something and he immediately gave it to me and I would think that he answered my prayers. But when he does not answer any of what I am asking for, I immediately think that he is not answering my prayers. I know that what I am doing is wrong and I already asked his forgiveness and told Him that I will leave everything unto him.

Our God is great, and He forgives us when we slip up sometimes. We are humans, after all, and yes, we get overwhelmed by our emotions. But, when we ask for forgiveness, surely He will give it to us. That is how great our God is!
I'd like to share this - A lot of things happened to me lately, and it dawned on me that I have not been surrendering my life to Him like before. I prayed less and less and got more busy with my life. When I prayed, it was to ask for things. My aunt reminded me this - seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will follow. I have let go and let God be my priority, and now things are taking a better turn than I had expected!Yes, let's leave everything to Him and trust that He's doing what's best for us!

I want to fully surrender everything that I have to him and I know that it is not going to be very easy, but I will definitely try my best. Maybe I have been focusing too much on things that I want and didn't think much about what I am doing for God. I always ask God for something, but I never do anything in return to make him happy. I ask for a lot but always hurt him. You have a point here. If I want God to answer my prayers, I should wait and trust in him that everything will turn out fine and that I should give my everything to him.

God answers prayers in three way. He says yes, He says no, and he delays. We have to accept these. Patience has something to do with delays. God may delay your answer as he would answer it in his own time and way. We have to keep our eyes and ears of faith open and get his answer. I waited for three years to get my answer. And I did not give up on him, or backslide. I was faithful ever to him and suffered untill he answered my prayers and they were very sweat, sweater than honey. God is real and he fulfills his promises.

I am still waiting for his answer and I know that he will give it to me at the time that he thinks is perfect. I know that I was wrong when I doubted him, but I know now that all I can do is wait and have faith in him. I realized ow that faith is one of the most important thing that we can do for God. Our faith in him makes us stronger and gives us all the reasons to hold on when everything else is falling apart. I know that he will grant me answers someday.

God is awesome God who knows what good and right for each one of us. His grace is sufficent for us each day. You might think that God did not naswer for the prayers , but while waiting for his answer his grace is sufficent. That see small things like you can cope to live with whatever you lack or need that you asked. Just to be is grace sufficent, You have family, people and other around. Hang in there as the Australian say, and God will grant your peace at. ANd that is faith, it looks beyond things that you have now. Faith is endurance and faith is patience that you wait. God bless you and keep you in His grace.

Thank you very much jack2010. I will never, ever lose faith in him again and continue on praying and hoping that everything will turn out perfect, not only for me, but for God as well. And yes, I will hang on. I've came to realize that there are other people who carry more burdens than me and we never hear them complain. Maybe nI should change my attitude towards things.

Guess we must know that God is not a vending machine. Prayers can be answered in many ways and in the least expected ways.
I think we have to look within ourselves and without - prayer changes us.
God helps those who help themselves.

I am hoping that everything would turn out how God wants it to be. He only wants the best for me and I am still praying that he will eventually give me what my heart desires. I will never lose faith in him again, like I did before. I don't want to risk my relationship with God for something that I thought that he did. I will keep on praying to him and never lose hope.

just keep on praying. Have faith and know that He will answer your prayer. Those happened to me a lot of times, even until now actually, I feel so sad that He doesn't answer my prayers and of course I really want to know the answers immediately, but I think He is now testing my patience. I am praying that He will grant me my wish because I really want this SO much.

Thank you for your kind words. I feel that God is also testing my patience to find out if I am really worthy and deserving of what I am asking for. Maybe I have also been asking God too much, and too much has been given to me already. I will just wait and keep my faith to the Lord that everything will turn out not only the way I want it to be, but also how God want it to be. I know that God will grant our prayers soon. Good luck to both of us.

Oooops, sorry about that. Yes, you are correct, May God bless both of us! :) I have long been praying that God will give me a job, even a job that is not high-paying. I just want a job that can help me to become more independent and can help me with my finances. I also am asking for a lot. Maybe He got confused with all of the things that I am asking for.

Yes, there were times that I feel the same. I am just human and of course sometimes weird things comes in our mind. We loss our trust and have little faith. But God really works in mysterious ways that no one can comprehend. So hang on, have faith and of course, you have to remember that God also said, knock and it shall be opened, seek and you shall find... So the point is, you must also do your share... I know that along the way, God will help you through.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I remember that saying from the bible. I am seeking and I know that God will give me what I am asking for at his right time. Or maybe, like what I have said a million times, He is probably busy preparing something better for me than what I am praying for. I know that I need to have a stronger faith because just like what the other poster have said here, I am just human. I make mistakes sometimes and I apologize to God for being such a brat.

i dont think that way as i know god never failed me, of course dont expect god to answer your prayer in just one snap of our fingers as sometimes it takes time nor sometimes it will come that soon, we will never know. the problem with us is that we always doubt god inspite of everything he gave to us. i admit that always but now that i really feel his presence because of the things that happened to me it makes me feel more closer to him.

I know now that I should be patient and just wait because everything will fall into its place at the right time. I should not rush things and blame God for not answering my prayers, but instead focus more on serving Him and for once in my life, try to make God happy. I have always been too focused on myself and always ask for something.

I know exactly how you feel I have been asking to god for something for about 7 years or more oh well you know still one must never lose faith in god. I actually lost faith in him for a while, but that was a while back and I feel just so awful about it too.

Wow. I really admire your faith. I do not think that I could hang on for that long, 7 long years. But I will try to do so because I know that God will never let go of me either and He will never allow something bad to happen to me. I will hold on to my faith and believe in what He can do.

I used to be like you. I would pray and pray and nothing would ever happen. So i ended up not believing in a god anymore. And truthfully, all of it sounds bogus once you get into a mindset like mine. I mean comeon, an all powerful being that created humanity and all of the creatures on earth? It just doesnt sound right to me.

God has reasons in every single thing happening in our lives. If you think or feel that He is not answering any of your prayers, he has reasons behind that. Maybe, He's planning something better for you as you said :). Always remember that God only wants the best for us. Everything happens at the right time. I felt that way too before and I figured out that believing in HIM no matter what is the key to HIS heart. Don't get tired of HIM because He will never get tired of you surely :) God bless you

Thank you for your response. I love it when you said that God will never give up on me. It really lifted me up and made me realize that if God won't give up on me, who am I to do so? I should never lose my faith to the Lord and believe that everything will happen at the right place and at the right time. Maybe he is just busy granting prayers for other people who needed it more than I do. Besides, I am not His only child.

one of the oldest questions of man is there really a God? simple question as it seems. I respect all of your belief that there is a supernatural being. Please respect also the people who don't believe. People around the world are killing each other in the name of their god's like muslims and christians killing each other or hindu and muslims killing each other also, i believe your god is the problem here why people are killing each other just for the reward of getting to paradise and escaping eternal damnation, do god really see that people are doing anything like killing each other for that, he must know because he created us. that's why i dont believe in that thing,if he really do exist he must erased the suffering and hatred in this world before i and everyone else starting to believe again.

I really do not know what to say but I respect your opinion. I am in no position to say what you are saying is wrong because that is what you think and feel. As for me, even though I have faced a lot of tough times in my life, I would never, ever stop believing that there is a Being that is up there looking after us. Maybe at some point in my life I also had those questions. I also aksed myself why bad things are happening to us. I do not really know the answer and I cannot give you the reason why He allows that. All I can say is that everything happens for a reason whether they may be good or bad.

I am guilty of thinking God must be a million miles away from me and my situations. When I am in the middle of a trial it is hard to remember what I know... that God is always right on time. Our ways and answers are not always God's ways and answers. We just need to remember that God has a reason for each and everything and when we are going through a tough situation that God will never put more upon us than we can bear. We are much stronger individuals than we realize. Each valley that we go through just helps us come out higher on the mountain top. Smile... God loves you!!

Hi! Thank you for your response.
I know that everything that I am going through right now is still a part of God's plan for me and I am confident that everything will turn out the way that God want it to be. he may not give me everything that I want but he will surely give me something that I deserve. Thank you very much for your kind words. You are correct to say that the answers and the ways that we think that will solve our problems, may not always be God's ways and answers for us.

Hi Labea,
Well, sometimes in my life I also feel the way you feel. But you know what? You are never alone. He is somewhere else with you. Right beside you. You just never realize. Never look deep down your heart. He is there.
Ask yourself, He is the one to leave, or you are the one that leave?
Just be patient.. Everything has its time. ^^
Be happy.

YES!!! He always do, but we keep ignored because the answer He gave us is not the answer we want to be. We keep asking the things that were not meant to be. Sometime we pray the things that beyond the realty , and When GOD answer us NO! Is not good for you my child. DO we heard him? of course no because we always expect the YES answer. but if we acknowledge why HE never grant your pray the answer is in your heart.
GOd BLESS

you're right! We cannot blame God for not answering our prayers. God works in many ways we don't actually know. Just trust Him and have a faith in Him. He will make a wau. I'm sure God has a better plan for you. Sometimes we have to be patient and wait for His plans for us. God works in way we human dont usually see.

God does not answer our prayer maybe it is not yet the time or it is not for you. The Bible said "Your ways is not My ways, your thought is not My thought". He did not answer your prayer right now maybe because He want you to do something else before He grant your request. Or He dont answer your maybe because that is not He plan for you. Ask Him what He reaaly plan for you. After all God knows what is best for all of us. Just have faith and everything will go smooth.

When you think that God isn't answering your prayers and isn't doing anything to help you with your problems...That's not true. For God is still there but He just works silently....:D
