Is the World going 2 END soon

In the beginning of the millenium some news was spread out on media that the world is going to end a astroid is about to hit planet earth and everything is going to finished and ended. I was like omg and like really really scared when i heard that imagine that happening for real if you would hear this what would your reaction be and what would you be thinking? i personally would be proper freeked out and all numb when it comes to these things i would like to hear your opinions on this particuler subject

You are right, the world is going to end and everything is happening as predicted in Quran, and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Science does agree with that. Scientists believe that there will be a time when the distance between the sun and the earth will become lesser, and there will be a time when the earth will start moving towards the sun. This simply directs us towards the belief that we have regarding the day of Judgement also called as Qayamat.
Other symptoms suggesting that the day of judgement is nearer are already seen. One of them is 'star with whitish tails' and they are seen like 10 years ago.
