I joined mylot three years ago. When i happened to look back those topics I've posted before especially the first one, it was really so funny. From the grammars, spellings, conjunctions they were all contradicting with each other. I felt ashamed and embarrassed the way I constructed it. It took half an hour for me to finished it. It was a "nose-bleed" writing.
I could not type without looking at my keyboard in a very slow way with lots of errors.
Within my three years of staying loyally here I got some friends and favorite friends.
I could already write faster now compared before because your mind is faster than your eyes without looking at my keyboard. Most of all I could write confidently now compared before. I guess my English improves a lot compared before. I got these progress because of my constant and my activeness in participating here. Because I believe in the saying..Constant practice makes you perfect..though it is impossible because NO ONE is really perfect. But, at least I am progressing.
I don't mine about my earnings here because what I got right now from mylot is more than enough compared to what I am earnings from all kinds of participation.
GO MYLOT GO GO!!!
How about you guys, would you mine sharing yours?

it's nice to reminisce! hehe
like you, i've been here a while too albeit not an avid poster. i guess whenever i have time to visit mylot i'm more actively reading posts than responding or making my own discussions.
i've been thru a transition too. back on day 1 i had so many questions to veteran mylotters. i welcomed each and every advice given especially in improving earning potential. i loved my first BR i received on my 3rd day, and very excited to have my yellow star upon reaching 100 posts. and reaching the $10 mark in 3 weeks is pretty exciting too. each little milestone is memorable and appreciated.
i also appreciate the friends i've met, made and kept. those who lay witness thru my ups and downs, the emotional rollercoaster rides that i had in my relationship then. i think i got better in writing, having longer and more meaningful posts than my earlier attempts. mylot has been a stress-reliever because writing was my outlet back then.
i think as a person... i learned... i became stronger... i improved... in thoughts, in writing, in communicating... as well as handling emotions.
the search for potential earnings was what made me stumble upon mylot. the discussions, learnings and friends i've met are some of the reasons i stayed... and perhaps the same reasons why i'll keep on coming back in between being so busy with life and more living. hehe
have a great day!

Wow, you are my idol, mylesnarvaez! I just recently joined mylot and I admit my first reason for joining is to earn money. I will have to get back to you though about any improvements that I might have since joining. I really admire you for reaching the payout within 3 weeks. Any tips especially for a newbie like me? thanks!

I have been in mylot for less than a year already though i am not a full time one, i also enjoy being here. You right when you said that you have learned a lot from particpating in this site. I am also learning just like you. This is a very good venue for expressing our views and opinions on different issues. We can also start or participate in light discussions. We can also discuss any topic under the sun. Some of this topics are daily experiences and observations of people from all walks of life that are interesting.
So let's not stop sharing our thoughts, opinions, knowledge and even skills to all our friends in myLot. God Bless!

Yes my friend. What I think of cash payout here is just little compliments for those who are active members. In my opinion too, the only good thing here that money can't buy is the improvement or the progress I am enjoying right now compared before.
I feel like I am still in my college days..
Thanks for responding my friend..

Congratulations on the progress. Good to know that myLot also helps you write English better. Now you won't have to feel embarrassed.
I've only been here for about a year now, probably not as active as you either. I've seen myLot friends come and go, but I'm happy to meet new people here and join in the conversation. I'm nearing my payout soon. Hope this will be the start of good things for me in myLot.

Hello friend good day. Honestly in terms of payout on my part I think I can't be proud of it (payout). Why? It is because I could get my payout on an irregularly bases. I mean it is not monthly that I would get it. I would consider my self active in the since that I would not leave a day without opening mylot, I would not pass a month without responding or replying discussions same time posting on it.
Well, I guess you really serious in your money making here in mylot.
Congratulations..

I have also been part of this site for almost three years. I have seen a lot of improvements in my English usage since I joind Mylot. Mylot helped me improve my vocabulary and grammar. My writing skills have also improved a lot since day one here in Mylot. I also learned about other online money making sites through Mylot. In a way Mylot made me realize the potentials of making a substantial amount of income through writing. Mylot also introduced me to blogging. I managed to learn HTML's and other programming programs. Mylot also allowed me to meet a lot of amazing and interesting individuals. Being able to call Mylot my home, a place where I can go back whenever I need a break, a place to rant or a place to chill with my Mylot family.

Hello joie I never reach what you had right since you joined mylot. How I wish. But like you, I owe a lot with this site because as for me this is my platform, my trampoline. I mean, I would be hypocrite if I would say I am only focusing mylot from my day 1 here..through mylot I learned a lot of online business sources but, wherever, whatever I've been through, still I keep coming back here. For me, mylot is the mother of all of my social sites I had registered.
More power on MYLOT!!
Thank you guys ...

This is a very inspiring note from you mobhomeir. Mylot is really a stress-reliever for me. When at work, if I want to get rid of the monotony, I log in to my account and start reading/ responding to discussions.
I am also more expressive when I write my ideas. So, when I read stuff here, it really entices me to participate. Mind you, there are a lot of good ideas and questions for us to respond here. I learn a lot from this site, too. In fact, when I write my articles for my blog and other sites, I get the inspiration from here.
With earnings, I'm excited to reach that, but that really isn't my priority right now. I just love the people here and the experience. I hope Mylot will stay with us for decades.

If you would just continue your good attitude as far as mylot is concern I think you would get what you are expecting to have here. Like you payout here in nothing for me because honestly it is not sufficient for my needs. What I would like here are friends everywhere with their different point of views based on their posted topics and other enjoyable discussion. There are lots of good things here.
Happy mylotting friend...

I haven't been a member for a year yet, but I have quite a few posts. I think my writing has improved in the time I have been here. I used to be a good speller and good at typing. After a few years of not using these skills, I lost them. It does seem that with practice I have regained the typing skills, and I spell much better. When I first started typing posts, I looked a lot of words up in the dictionary, now not so much.
I have also learned a lot of things and joined new sites because of reading some responses. On top of all that I just received my first payout!
In some responses you can tell that English is not the first language. Yours is not one of them! It seems you have improved quite a bit!

That's right my friend. I have no regrets of staying here though I encountered few seriously hated arguments before with someone which gave me deduction on my reputation. Well, that was okay with me because I considered it a 'blessing-in-disguise" because I learned a lot from that incident.
Thanks my friend for responding ...

Well I am relatively new so hearing stories like this are really encouraging. Congratulations on your progress and I hope the same luck can happen to me and other new myLotters. As far as earnings go I'm not sure if we're allowed to say anything about it or it'll get deleted as a violation but uh "hintity hint hint" I've made more than most of the other sites.

Yes my friend. We would just be careful about those prohibitions because even us who are already "matured" here has no exception to the rules.
There's a saying that goes.."Life is what we make it.." If you want your stay here would be worth dying for then be good. Refrain from doing some violation gain good reputation and lots of friends.
Thanks for responding my dear friend...
