Old man says it is good to study in the morning you quickly memorize what we study but i'm not agree with them at all. With my experience I think it is best to study at late night in much silence environment and in my school i use to do that nevertheless i can't study in morning time feeling sleepy instead of memorize the thing quickly the thing that i had learned start to forgetting..
So my best time for study is late night...How about you friends..?

Hi siliguri, i used to wake up early in the morning at 4.00 clock for studies, i will warm up myself for then i will start reading, you feel fresh in the morning and whatever you study you can easily grasp it. I used to read all my subjects like stories so that i will be there for so many years in our mind. I never used to study my subject in anxiety, i am very cool in studies. But i can't stay till late night and read. I used to sleep by 9.30 pm. Here the logic is whether it is in the morning or in the night, if you have a good sleep you can do your things properly.

At 4:00 clock in the morning. In my study career i never woke at 4:00 clock for study i'm quite lazy kind of guy and prefer to study late night rather then at morning.
There are my few friend who are good in study and use to wake up quite early in the morning..I think you are also a brilliant student like them

YOU GRANDFATHER was PRINCIPAL do u studied in his school..
if yes i don't think there was need of study as your grandfather was principal. All the study materials you were get from him only like which question is going to come in examination..
I can tolerate to do math practices but studying other subject at the morning..better to leave study..

Actually there have been many arguments and counter arguments over which time of the day is better for studies.
There have been students who study late in to night and excel in their chosen vocations while another group of students get up early and do equally well in their studies.
On the studies conducted at university revealed that early risers on average scores better than their other group, who sleeps late. The results opened the possibilities that to get better grades students should get up early.

We all vary in our study habits. Sometimes we don't even have any habits at all! LOL
When I was reviewing for the boards, our instructor told us to determine the time of the day that we had our highest energy level.
Mine was late afternoon when the sun is about to set. Maybe the blast of flaming colors is one thing that raises up my energy? IDK. But I find myself awake, alive, alert on those hours starting 4 pm to about 6:30.

Hmm I think there is point in what the old man says. Research also supports him. It is actually because our brain freshen up after rest. But again it is up to each individual. I can study any time provided I am not hungry and tired hi hi. Though I have noticed that I take less time to understand and memorise after a sleep. My sister could study even in the presence of music. Some cant sit and study, they have to be on the couch...I doze off immediately at the sight of a couch only..so it is again up to individuals.

I feel comfortable to study in the early morning, when i have already relaxed the whole night, feel fresh and full of energy in the morning. Whole day in school makes me feel exhausted and when i reach home i was already very tired, i could no longer understand what i am studying when i am already very sleepy. In the early morning, when everybody is still asleep, it is so quiet and peaceful, thats a good time to study for me. But it all depends on the persons study habits and comfortable time for him.

I think it's different for each individual! I don't study now but when I did study my favourite time to study was in the early mornings after I had woken up! I think it's at this time when you are fresh, alert and awake and it's far easier to take the information in! There are others that like to study at night and this works best for them! I guess it's good to experiement with different study times thoughout the day to see what works best.
Study is a thing of the past for me now but I do like to read for pleasure and this suits me during the evening hours before retiring for the night. Andrew

Each one have their own comfort levels and the good old phrase that students can grasp their lessons faster in the early mornings never worked with me.I think we should concentrate on our very own timings than to follow others.the best time for me would be in the evenings with some music being played at the background...i can never study when it is silent there by i avoid nights and early mornings...coz all i do is to yawn .great day.

For me it is best to study in the morning specially after taking bath because your mind is fresh and your body is not exhausted. If you study late at night the tendency is that you fall a sleep specially when you are memorizing. And you will not easily memorize things when you mind is exhausted in a long day's work.

I can study better at night, in the morning I cannot concentrate at all, I am always sleepy in the morning. When I go to University and I have morning courses I can't pay attention and I usually fall asleep. When I was younger and attending school I always learned in the afternoon or at night, because it was the only time when I felt that I can learn.

Hi siliguri, I was told as well, after having a proper sleep we would be really energetic the following morning. It's a nice time for a refreshed mind to think and to remember whatever we have learned. I had tried doing this once in middle school day. I found it's extremely for me to leave the warm and comfortable that early. Since then I never like to study in the morning.
To me it works as well to study in late night. What I need is to have a proper nap in the afternoon. Moreover the surrounding environment after eleven in night is tranquil. Almost all the people around have gone to their wonderland in the dream. I could concentrate on my study without the disturbance of the noise made by the tv, etc in the quiet and peaceful night
Happy posting

I think it is better to study morning.
You will just need good organisation and normal time of sleep.
Don't rush, don't get up earlier to start learning, don't make anything that may get your attention. Now go and open your books and study everything you need.
After then go and take a rest.
If you learn at late night sometimes it is easier but there are many minuses.
One of them is that you are screwing your normal bedtime and getting up / sleeping times. You will feel tired even on the other day. And the biggest (in my opinion) minus is that all the exams and such things are in the morning, so you will have to sleep less, then you wouldn't be ok with "remembering" the things from all the late nights you've studied. You will remember like the last 3 nights but not more, so you are screwd a little. So if there is more things to study I would prefer to study in the morning.
//The example with the late studying and not remembering all these thing in the early morning (you can do your exam perfectly late time, but not in the morning) happened to my sister, which was learning everything late night. So I won't repeat her mistake!

When I want to study or memorize my lessons I usually read it twice in the evening then sleep early. Early in the morning around 5:00 AM, I wake up and start reading it again twice. After that take a bath. For me its really effective, during the exams it feels like I'm scouring through the pages of my book looking for the answers. ^_^. That's my study pattern though.

I think that studying in the morning is the best way to study. whatever I study in the morning remain with me for years to come. I usually get up 4 a.m. in the morning during my exams to study. whereas in the evening whatever I study, i hardy can remember that because I am so burdened with my day's works that i can hardly concentrate on my studies. So i would prefer u to study in the morning.
