Search Earnings

I was using the search feature about an hour ago and received a reward of 7 cents. I have received at least one reward every day so far this month and have never yet received one for 0 cents. I now keep a tab open permanently and don't use other searches. I hope your fears are not the case

sorry i dont use that function^^ anyway if you post and post things here maybe you win money faster than using that function^^ anyway talk with the my lot creators and maybe they can answer you about it^^ and why your account is in zero yet.the best for you^^ is already 2 days you are efforting and nothing happens so you really need to ask them what is happening.

I just got a reward of 5 cents earlier. I was looking for discussions related to dogs. Don't give up on the search bar... Just be patient and a reward will come to you.

as I understand it, you don't get paid for 'searches' as such, but you get paid for *using the search feature*... it's not about which searches you get paid for, or what does or does not constitute a 'legitimate search' - more about natural, organic and spontaneous use of the search feature within Mylot. I am trying to remember to use it as my search engine of choice, as the output has improved considerably over the last month or so. I tend to get about 1 reward a day for using it in this way, and I think the lowest has been 7c, usually more like about 12c. At one point I had to stop using it because it said my account had 'suspicious activity' - that was frustrating because, as often when searching for online information, all I had done was run several similar searches one after the other... just because I was iteratively refining my search term to find precisely the information I was seeking, not because I was trying to game Mylot :-). God knows though it must be a challenge to write an algorithm that can distinguish the one behaviour from the other.

omg i totally forgot that we can earn from the search bar! I was looking for trips on the net about how to maximize earnings here on myLot. I often use the search bar if I want to find a thread. But I never got any rewards. UNTIL NOW! haha i just tried it right now and a floating message appeared saying I got 2 cents. I didn't know it works that way. I thought rewards will just automatically be credited to the earnings. I think maybe the others are right you should use is the natural way. If you use it too often maybe myLot detects it and it will not give rewards. That's just my opinion. I don't know how the algorithm is implemented.
