My father had his second stroke last year. Like the first, we never really saw it coming, not even a sign of a high blood pressure. I wonder if any of you guys have experienced taking care of someone who has had a stroke. How do you make sure he/she is in the best of health always to avoid another attack?

Hi wildflow3rz28, it's rather sorry to learn that your dad suffered his second stroke last year. Yeah, it's true that stroke would come without any sign. I haven't taken care of anyone who has had a stroke. I had seen this while I accompanied one of my colleague to visit her grandfather who was warded to hospital for the sudden stroke happened earlier. There were professional nurses taking good care of him. It's a private medical center therefore the charge there was rather expensive. I did check online before this and know that high blood pressure as well as heart diseases might cause stroke without any symptom at anytime. There are lots of advices and ways how to take care of patients suffering from stroke. Feel free to check it out if you have time. Take care and happy posting

thanks Ikbooi, i really appreciate your sympathy. Taking good care of health is somewhat a sensitive issue for older people who are sick. Because they cannot eat just any food and must avoid giving them emotional stress.
