Amazon addict

I've been to Amazon a few times,but have never bought anything because their shipping policy is so expensive to send to Australia and they don't take paypal. I prefer bookdepository.com because shipping is free no matter how much you spend and their prices are fairly low. I

I love amazon too especially since $25.00 US D you get your shipment free if you live in the United States of America I don't know if our neighbors in Canada or Mexico if there free or not and that would be interesting to have answered. I love the things on Amazon.com also because sometimes things are cheaper or hard to find are there. I also like the fact that the music albums you can preview the songs to see if you like it before you buy it. I love the tools that are on there too.

I love amazon also because, you know, that you don't have to actually spend your own money there!! You can just work over at their mturk site and use the earnings from there on the main site to buy stuff, or at least that is what I do. So I basically get free amazonian stuff. But I do I got a lot of my text books there for college, especially the art books that I needed. OHHH since you are an avid reader I was wondering if you would ever try the kindle? I've been looking at it but I can't decide.

I love Amazon! I wonder how I ever lived before Amazon. I tend to buy books but also DVDs. A great element is the second-hand sellers through Amazon. I need a lot of books for my work (research) so I often value price over having a pristine new book. I really value the security of second-hand buying through the Amazon system. I like too that there are French and German sites, where it is possible to browse and buy titles in those languages. In my field, it is great to know of what is out there that has not been translated yet. I must say, though, that I found a UK site called The Book Depository - they sell through Amazon, but also have their own site. They sell only books, and only new books, and they have a smaller range of stock. However, their prices are generally lower than Amazon and have free shipping (i.e. shipping included in the price, but the overall price is generally lower than the book + shipping price on Amazon), which is great. Given their niche, I see them as complementary to Amazon. Long live both!
