My niece doesn't want to go to school

Back to school, some students are excited others are nervous but with my niece case it was different. She was only 4 and doesn't want to go to school because her only ambition is to become a mother - a plain housewife. Maybe that's how she idolizes her mother.
We can't force her from schooling but I try to convince her that schooling is really fun and she can meet new friends there. I hope it will work! Good luck to me...

Hi, inviteme. She has to go to school. There is no slacking off here. Here in our country, if a child does not go to school like they should, then the parents will be held liable for this. The parents could end up in Family Court and maybe, it will be a possibility, that they will do some jail time. She has to go to school. She is a long ways from being a mommy. My daughter is four and she will be going to Head Start next week. She is looking forward to it. This is all that she has talked about for the longest. I am happy to see her want to go too.

Hello cream97. Sadly, we don't have that kind of law here in our country. But I have good news, we convinced her to go to school and now she was on her third week...hope it will last. First day to school, lots of complaint and asking me why should I will tell my name on front of our class, I don't know those kids.
I am glad that your daughter will going to school too.

This is not unusual for children to say that they do not want to go to school at that age. They realize that school will mean they are required to do certain things and follow rules. They think that if they stay home they will get to play and just enjoy being a kid.
Once she gets there and finds out that there are other kids to play with and fun things to do she will like it. It may take a few days and she may shed a few tears in not wanting to go but it is the best thing for her.
