who is your best friend and what makes him/her your best friend

I have lots of friends but my confidant, my psychiatrist as I call her, my best friend is my older sister. She is the first one I want to call when something great or not so great happens to me. She is the person that I can talk to about anything that is on my mind and we have so much in common that we are able to grow from our ideas and when we do not agree we dont get to mad for too long because the ties of blood keep us unconditionally loving to one another.

Amongst the large number of friends that are connected to me,both in real life and through net,it is difficult to find very few who can be considered true friends,in real terms. True friendship is built up on the foundation of mutual trust,caring,sharing,helping and appreciating. Most often,people are emotionally drawn to each other with a view to fulfill their personal needs,desires and interests and fail to realize their sense of responsibility. Thanks.
