toothache?

Have you ever experienced toothache, it feels like your teeth are swollen. How do you cope?

well i usually drink painkillers but if i dont have any i gargle salt and warm water it helps.
its one of those pain that i cannot cope thats why i go to painkillers.

Yep I certainly have. Normally that kind of pain is either caused by an infection or maybe you have a raw nerve showing. I would guess you have an infection. If this happens to me I get some warm salty water (sea salt is better but any works just as well), and I rinse it round my mouth, and try to hold it in the bad side for as long as I can. I also use listerine mouthwash. You could also try clove oil, if you have a hole in your tooth that you know off sometimes putting clove oil in the hole can ease the pain. I have also taken pain killers like ibroprufen as they are like an anti-inflammortory, and reduce swellings.
