Sad mylot joiners.

70% seems high, but quite possible. The economic outlook is hardly great- companies cutting back on hours, and sometimes imposing pay freezes, or reductions to preserve jobs. Sites like this could easily be the difference between paying some bills or cutting something out. Not everyone has the chance to pick up an extra job if they work a shift pattern. A lot of employers require you at certain times, and these often conflict with main working hours.

Wanting to earn online is not a bad idea specially for those who prefer to work from home. But myLot is more for social interaction and earning is just a bonus so to say. Whatever one earns here is not something that one can survive on. It is a wrong notion if one has a sole purpose to come here to earn.

Hi Grangeke, Welcome to Mylot! I know what you mean. So many of them are on here just looking for ways other than Mylot to earn money on-line. The truth is, I'm pretty sure that there is no really quick way to earn as much money as what they are looking for. Many of them are looking to make a living by sitting in front of their computers and not leaving the comfort of their home. For most of us who have been here a while, the money we earn on mylot is some extra cash in our pockets but the truth is , we really enjoy being here. You meet a lot of great people, learn about other cultures etc. If you have a problem or just need a little moral support...this is without a doubt the place to come. Oh and for those that are here just looking for other money making sites, all they have to do is check out various profiles and they'll find all sorts of links and banners. There really isn't a need to make a discussion about it.

maybe some will join because they really want to earn right? for me, i am having fun plus i am earning too. spending too much time for something you dont want to do is too hard to do.

Hi grangeke, Do not grudge it, let the poor rats earn whatsoever in their capacity. You are true that most people join this site with a huge expectation of making big money and before they reach 100 posts they realize (I mean those who are mere toddlers in quality stuff)the futility and stop and push off with no promise of making a return. I understand their mind. My over one year stay on mylot has taught me many a thing and therefore I do not mind them who whine about money only.

well i think almost all of us came here with the original reason of earning online. Me personally its the same. But after a while i stayed with a different reason. Its about getting info, opinions and such. but i find it understandable for people to ask this questions because not all of us are old in the "online earning scene" but sometimes quite annoying when you see the same questions every time

Many people here is for money reasons and I do not seen nothing wrong here. People who is here earn a money slowly and sometimes they quit. But, people who is enjoy time what they spend here in myLot earn well. I too I am here for fun. For first day here I can see results. My writing skills is improved well and know I can write responses fast and without misstakes. Also at the same time It is nice to earn a reward for our time here. Where you find that facts? I do not think that all of them is true. Yes everyday people is asking for help It is nice, but If they ask questions whose we can find in FAQ is not a good idea. I also joined in for the money but then I enjoyed responding to discussions too as I went along coz a lot of them are very sensible and interesting.One must enjoy exchanging views with others here to be able to make some real money. Otherwise it really takes time to make some cash here.

I am new here as well. Because English is not my native language,I can practice my poor English here. When I find mylotter can understand my opinion,I will very happy. It's just so easy reason for me to come here. I can join discussion to know people all over the world,I never pay attention to another one's goal to here. Perpaps it is "win-win".

So they ask to be legitimate. moreover, now have too much scam web, and thirst for earn to pay off their life. Then they ask so be right. I, myself use mylot to share and learn things, and also for the money. Just because people sign up here for the money doesn't mean this is our only source of income. Of course we have our own jobs. I use mylot because I have so much spare time and I could use this to earn extra little income. And besides, money is the reason why mylot gets most of its members. More members = more profit. So if we want to discuss anything about anything why would we do it in other sites when we could do it here where we would earn. Even if they are just cents theyre better than nothing. If you're complaining why people join here because of the money maybe you should complain to the admins of mylot why they're paying their members for our participation.

Yes there are quite a lot of people like this here, but sometimes it is not really their fault as they could have been told about this site purely for the making money side of it. People should know that making money online is not an easy thing, and it does take time, and patience, which some people do not have. Sometimes people are really desperate for money, because they are unable to go out and get a real job. As much as the money is nice, I tend to forget about it. I come here to enjoy giving input on discussions, and to make friendships. I am like you in that I am not a very social person, and being a busy Mum, most of my days are spent at home. I have made some really good friends here, for which I am thankful for. Before coming to this site, I was addicted to facebook, and my addiction has now turned to this site, purely for the enjoyment factor. I do wish that I could spend more time on here sometimes, but I get my fix mainly at night when my youngest is asleep.

Well I have a feeling they might have jobs and are just looking for extra cash. It is kind of sad to think that so many people are in it for the money. I honestly like the money but it isn't enough to be greedy about. I like the nice, but genuine people and the good discussions. But I have to admit the money is the reason I came. But I stayed for the content and the fun.

I'm sure many of these people have a job. There's nothing wrong with earning some extra cash. Most people here aren't only here for money. I actually came from yahooanswers which is very similar to this. I posted a lot on there and earned no money for it, but then I discovered this site. I'm here to express my opinion on things and socialize with people WHILE i'm making money. It's basically a win-win situation. Where do you get your facts from, about people barely reaching 250 posts? The reason they haven't reached it is because they just joined recently, such as yourself. (and me) You're making assumptions. I have talked to quite a few people who have been on mylot for a while now and they have over 1000 posts. Everyone who is active on the site earns money, there isn't a case where you earn nothing at all, you just have to hit payout. Now basically what I'm saying is there is nothing wrong with using mylot to earn some extra cash.. If you were walking down the street, and found 20 dollars wouldn't you pick it up? You wouldn't say to yourself "No, If I want money I must get a job."
