Oh the shareholders must be jumping with joy now. They've made a total mess but who cares, now their shares are going up in value.....oh they must pray it'll keep climbing soon.......I can see them rubbing their hands with this greedy look shining in their eyes.
What do you think about this sh*t??

That is the way investers in shares work. I have some of these in a different company and I am always happy when they go up in value. I am sure that these investers thought BP was a good investment when they paid and the fact that they didn't bail out on the company when things went bad makes them feel they made some good choices. When I invest I check out many things about the company I am considering, but many just look at the paper work and don't care how the company is run just so it makes a profit.

Oh I know how it all works out, that you invest money in order to have it grow of course but with this oil mess, its not easy for those who are paying the price now to know that investors have nothing to worry about. No easy solution I guess.
Hope your investments will do well for you.
Thanks

well someone must have faith that they are going to recover from all the crap that is going on, otherwise their shares wouldn't be increasing in value...I won't be shopping at a BP station, because I don't agree with the way they have handled the spill thus far, but apparently some people (who may or may not be smarter about these things than I am) see a reason to invest in BP stock, otherwise their stock prices would be falling...

Thanks!

Yes "apparently" but I dont believe it. I think they said that only to get their shares to go up. They're very greedy you know and did know about a leak before but said nothing, so why should you believe them now?

You should realize that, BP is in Britain and the oil spill is in tens thousand kilometers far from them. Even though they do nothing, there will not be one oil molecule appears in front of their eyes. So why don't they concern themselves with their shares more than the oil?

I have a feeling that eventually the oil will end up on their shores......if it keeps on leaking and Im sure it still does, it will get there. Maybe then they'll do something about it but I doubt it. Stupidity and greed go hand in hand sometimes.
Thanks for sharing.

It's normal their share value is rising.
At few weeks ago their shares went down so much that they almost bankrupt.

I know its normal as apparently they somehow managed to shut it down a little but do they have to brag about it after all the pain so many are going through now?
