I think ever since Henry left Arsenal, he had lost his legs. Arsene Wenger let him go only after he was past his best. After struggling with Barcelona for the past few seasons, I think New York and MLS gives him a perfect way to bring down the curtains on a very good career, marred by this world cup campaign where his hand ball goal against the Irish really sullied his image as a great footballer and the disgraceful exit from the world cup just added on top of that.
Cheers!

Well, maybe it's time to say bye to Thierry. He's not in his peak time

When Henry left Arsenal, his form is on a downward trend. It went further south during his days in Barcelona. From one of the most feared strikers in the world, he is relegated to the substitute bench and is a peripheral figure. The USA league is known to be a autumn holiday destination where footballers in the twilight of their career joins. Given the entertainment that he had given us before, he deserve the last hooray before he finally retire.

Thierry Henry is a really good player with great technique skills and goal sense. Not by chance last season was owned by Spanish giants Barcelona. He played a lot of games with this team, but showed very good game , but the injury which followed it, left him on the bench for Barca. He also played for Arsenal, which won many trophies with this team. Because it remains as a reserve team pm, led him to find another initiative to further their careers. I think it goes in this amerikansi team, not because they were offering in - better offer than while it was in Barcelona, but because he wants to remain calm until the end of his professional football career. At least I think so, but if so I can not be sure . This is my answer on this issue .

It's time to say bye to him.
These days Henry always doesn't keep his status to play.
Now he is not Henry who was king of Arsenal.
Moving to USA can help him make more money, perhaps we can not see him on top stage again.

Henry will probably be earning very big money with NY, but I'm wondering if this is really such a good move for MLS - it looks like NASL history repeating itself, where the league becomes nothing more than an opportunity for players who can no longer cope at the absolute top level to extend their career for a few more well-paid years.
