Are you sad when someone dies and you dont even know them?

I'm like this when I hear that someone dies on the news it's just really sad to me because they had so much youth and you know that person probably wanted to accomplish so much more in their lives. Also when a person dies they have family and thats sad when they get murdered or something. Hmm my brother told me I was weird for thinking this way who knows maybe he's right, but I just can't help it.

I understand where you are coming from I too feel the same way when I hear about it on t.v. Or even with older people I feel sad but then I remind myself that atleast there no longer in pain and is in a better place.

I feel kind of sad but not as bad as if I know them. But yeah I can feel a little chilled if I hear about a plane crash or a drowning. I also feel a little disgusted if it's something where the parent does something negligent. But yeah I feel the same way as you.

That's true what you say that you would feel sader if you know that person since one has a bond than with somebody that you don't know. I'm glad you feel the same way though I thought I was the only one who felt like this.

Well, I usually feel sad or even cry when I'm watching tv or seeing a movie. But in daily life, I would just feel sorry for him/her. Yes, they also have families and their family would be so sad. Why doesn't the murderer think reversely? If they can think in the opposite position, they won't do things to harm people.

i felt bad for them but not really sad since i dont now them and im not connected to them. if its my relatives then even if i dont see them for long perhaps i will. besides im not that emotional towards other people as i know i also have my own to attend to.

I also feel sad to hear such news. It makes me realise that life is short and full of tragedies. It is hard when that person leaves behind small kids.

im kinda of sad when someone die, but i just dont think about it and think of something that makes me happy. like my girlfriend.

ya some times but not so when i don noe a person then y to feel bad its different if i have seen that guy an i am lil bit closre to him then its a different way i am realy close nto every body to whom i i am be with..

Hi, Anime123. It's normal. I always have such feelings, especially when I heard childrens and the youth die. I always think if they still alive, maybe they are successful and make great contribution to the society.

Yes, it makes me sad too, because i`m thinking of that person, maybe wanted to live, to be happy, to live more moments with family and friends. And i also think about the family, and those that were left behind to grief.
