I have a pet cat. She looks fine but whenever she see me, she looks like she's always hungry, crying and asking for a fish! Does she love me only for fish? I mean, for food? Nothing more important to her except food, food and food?!! What the heck?!.. Looks like her world is revolving on food, fish, and mice! What if I cannot give her food anymore, I mean fish... Will she still love her master? I cannot ask her because she wouldn't answer in our language.. Your thoughts please...

Try petting her head sometimes or scratching her back. Cats love that and they'll brush against your feet if they got the hang of that. I believe all pets love their master first because they are provided with food. But that's ok because that means she already likes you. All you have to do is find other ways to have the cat more sensitive towards you.

Rubbing and scratching the back of her body, or the back of her head. What's better? What would you advice? Anyway, thanks for the tip...

I think you can do both. Whether scratching your pet's body or head, it's still the same. Like people, I believe they like to be cuddled and caressed also.

My cats love being scratched beneath their jaws. They raise they're heads and close their eyes while u scratch them and they'll cuddle after you've finished like they're saying "that's it? scratch more please :3"

but it is a cat and they usually love those who keep on providing them with food and cuddling them too... one of my friends as she fond of cats; she told me that if the cat rolls down or start itching its skin; that means the cat needs somebody to cuddle her as the cat might be feeling lonely!

Thanks for the tip. I notice that also. My cat would usually lie down, roll down, and she looks like she's demanding for some attention. I want to cuddle her but I am afraid she might respond in a playful manner she might accidentally scratch my hand with her sharp nails, or might accidentally bite might hand. I am afraid of rabies!

Well she does have to eat after all. I'm sure if you pet her and play with her that she will love you for that, and not only for food.

When you first got your cat did she always act this way or has she picked up this behavior over time? When she comes to you instead of giving her food give her affection instead. Play with her or even groom her. Try doing this for awhile and see if there are any changes.

experiment not giving her fish just give it cat food and if she shows any signs of lack of love just give her fish again and that means shes only into u for the fish

Thanks for the tip. I am also wondering if, the food we give to our pets have the influence in their behavior. I have observed, my auntie has pet dogs and she feeds them with civilized pet foods like Pedigree brand food, her pets behave differently than those fed with fishes by their masters. My aunt's pets are sweeter to their master than those owned by poor fishermen here.

Hello there,
Dogs are different from cats, this has been my experience since i started having a dog again. i had more cats before having a dog. from what i can really tell, cats aren't really the approachable type when it comes to Tender Loving Care. but I agree, they will just approach you for the fish, but there are times too that my ponchi would approach me for no reason, sometimes he follows meexcept outside
