Back up Husband or wife.

What do you think about the back up husband or wife , when two friends who know each other and like each other say " If im not married by the time im 40 then we should get hitched" like a back up plan.

I don't think there's really a problem with that. Hey, If both parties agree then it's ok right? Besides, if friends would fulfill a promise like that, I think their relationship would work out somehow. They're friends and they surely know each other deeply. Although there might be little chance of true love, they might be ok with each other. =)

I feel that if you are ready to be married right now, then why not get married right now? At least have a relationship with the person. However, something to think about, What if you really don't like the person or their traits? Sure there is always divorce but it costs money and time. I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe you should think before having a back up husband or wife.
